About this house rental
Just to mention a couple titles from the review page, "Totally awesome," "beautiful home for a large family," "Perfect retreat," "Beautiful beach home in a Fun location." I think you will find our beach home to be your home away from home and that's our goal! In fact one renter called it "home away from home!"
This is a Large, Beautiful, 6 bedroom, and 5 bathrooms on the sound. The 4th floor sleeps 4 and has a large sitting room with a HUGE TV--the kids will never leave! The 3rd floor has 3 bedrooms including the king master with high ceilings and amazing views. The second floor has one bedroom and the rest is living space. The family room is open to the kitchen and a large eating area with great sound views and a deck right off this space. The house will easily handle 12 people. We recently added a 4/5 person hot tub. The family room has a fireplace for colder weather. One guest commented "the house was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were spacious and well lit. It easily accommodated my family of 10+."
This Sound View house looks straight at Morehead City. According to one guest, "we had everything we needed for making meals." Wake up in the Master bedroom and look right out into the sound--great way to start your day. You won't want to leave.. Walking to Beach, Shopping, restaurants & Bars. Our community is called The Cottages at Bay Ridge and located between Atlantic Stations Shopping Center and the Atlantic Beach Post Office, our coastal community offers all the amenities and privacy that waterfront living deserves! According to a guest, "great house in a great neighborhood." We are a sound front community with great access to fishing, crabbing, kayaking and bird watching. We have a beautiful gradual entry pool. This is a wonderful amenity with elevated viewing area and plenty of shade for when it gets too hot in the sun. There is a half mile elevated wooden boardwalk which leads to the covered gazebo on our private island in the sound. This is great for picnics and fishing and watching the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Many guests commented that the host was easily accessible, accommodating and outstanding! I think anyone would agree when renting you want quick answers and we will give you that! And one final comment from a renter--"beyond all expectations!"

The house was just perfect for our family girls trip. The house had everything we needed. We loved using the pool and even had it all to ourselves some days. We used the golf cart to get around the neighborhood and go next door for dinner, ice cream and groceries. We also loved how the kids had their own floor to watch TV and play video games. Highly recommended this house to families!

Our group of older kids and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful Sound-side retreat! The house was cozy yet spacious with comfortable rooms, bedding, lounge spaces, and gathering areas. The rooms are well laid out lending to our various uses and needs. The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to use. Instructions and all ultilites were easy to follow and operate. We loved the hot tub and playing cornhole in the backyard! The house is close to the walkway to Atlantic Station Shopping center where there is pizza, ice cream, laser tag, the Food Lion grocery store and other shops. The community pool and dock to Sound gazebo were great as well! Owners were very responsive and helpful! It was well worth it even for a quick trip and we'd love to come back again!

We had the very best stay with our family for our daughter’s wedding. The house is perfect for large groups and was impeccably equipped. The subdivision is outstanding - community pool, unbelievable half mile boardwalk to the private island, and walkable to shops, restaurants and the movie theatre! Amazing indoor-outdoor living with a stunning long range marsh/sound view, fantastic decks, and a hot tub. A perfect setting for our perfect week celebrating our daughter.
