I had such a lovely stay at A la Maison B&B! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home and very well looked after.
The B&B itself is beautiful, peaceful and full of charm, the perfect place to relax and enjoy Gozo.
Everything was very clean and comfortable, and as a solo traveller, I especially appreciated the relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The pool was a real highlight, perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring the island. The whole pool area is beautifully arranged, with such a charming and peaceful atmosphere, a lovely place to slow down, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
I truly loved my time in Gozo and would happily come back. Highly recommended!

A wonderful place located on the island of Gozo, in a charming, atmospheric and peaceful area. There are some great restaurants nearby. The property was very clean, and the hosts were kind, friendly and very helpful.
There is also a fantastic terrace with plenty of comfortable spots to relax and a lovely swimming pool.
Although our overall impression was very positive, there are a few things that could be improved.
The kitchen is large and has an oven and a gas stove, but unfortunately these are not available for guests to use. We knew from the listing that only the microwave and toaster were available, but it seems a bit of a shame to have such a great, spacious kitchen and not make the full facilities available to guests. We think many guests would really appreciate this, as well as a better coffee machine.
It would also be great if air conditioning could be included in the room price, rather than requiring an additional payment, especially during the hot summer months.
One small thing to note is that the bathroom for the downstairs bedroom is located across the shared hallway. It wasn’t a major issue for us, but it may be useful for future guests to know.

The pool was my favorite and since there are not many rooms there are never more than a couple of other people using it. Often I would have it to myself for hours at a time. The place is also a very beautiful old but nicely updated “house of character”.
The air conditioning in the common area was not on unless you put coins in. It would be nice if this were running during the day. Even if it was not kept very cold, a moderate temperature would nice.

- Nessuna persona all'accoglienza
- Nessuno che ha registrato le persone con i documenti di identità
- Dopo aver preso il caffè ( a pagamento) a colazione , abbiamo pensato di lavare le tazze e riporle pulite nel lavandino posto in una zona cucina adiacente al salone dove c'erano i servizi per la colazione. La zona cucina era separata solo da una tenda .. l' Host ci ha chiamato con fare arrogante dicendo che noi non avevamo letto le istruzioni date e forse c'era qualcosa che non comprendevamo nel regolamento o che facevamo finta di ignorare.
- tasse di soggiorno, avevamo già lasciato la struttura e non essendoci nessuno abbiamo dimenticato di saldare la tassa.
L'host manda un messaggio chiedendo il saldo della tassa, a posteriori sempre con la stessa modalità di puntualizzazione e rimarcando la mancanza di attenzione da parte degli ospiti sul regolamento scritto ...

tassa soggiorno 0.50 Eur per persona al giorno ( tot 6 Eur )
Ovviamente abbiamo saldato la tassa stesso nella giornata del check-out.
