We love everything about Superior Solitude! The hosts Chris & Lindsi are very nice and really quick to get back to you if you should have any questions. We've gone quite a few times over the years and its still our favorite. We especially love the privacy, without other cabins sitting right on top of you and the luxury of a wood burning fireplace that's so hard to find now a days. The best part of course is being so close to the lake.....its just doesn't get any better than that!

Just as described—-with many updates! WiFi, new entrance, updated bathroom, portions of the lawn made available to us, new deck furniture were all appreciated. We have always appreciated that Superior Solitude was pet-friendly and sorry to hear that will be changing. It is definitely our favorite place on the North Shore—and just keeps getting better.

Rock beach was amazing. Sounds of the waves and wind were relaxing. Was a great place to rejuvenate. House was cozy and was close to many waterfalls and to cascade lodge restaurant which is a great place to eat, even breakfast! Very private. Would stay there again.

Chris and Lyndsi are wonderful hosts and time away was exactly what was needed! The peaceful north shore and the returning songbirds made for some quiet reflection.
