Located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, this lovely house for $370 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Charming and beautifully appointed, Nelles Cottage is the perfect place for a romantic and memorable retreat. This home has been recently updated and features all the modern conveniences and a lovely front porch. The house backs onto Veteran's Memorial Park and the Commons and a gate in the back fence provides quick, easy access - perfect to enjoy the many scenic walking and biking trails, tennis courts, community swimming pool, beach volleyball court, playground, and soccer fields. Prices are subject to change daily. -3 Bedrooms – 2 King beds and 1 Queen bed -2 Bathrooms – Tub shower combination and walk-in shower -Hosts up to 6 guests (including infants and children) -Private parking for up to 2 vehicles, contactless check in -Dog Friendly (one adult dog - $100 pet fee; a portion of the pet fee goes to support our local pet rescue - Angel's Rest.) -Central heating, and air conditioning -High speed WiFi and TV with access to streaming services Upon entering Nelles Cottage there is a spacious living/dining area with enough room for the whole family to gather. There is a TV for those rainy days or relaxed evenings indoors. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your culinary needs during your stay with us: -Drip-coffee maker and kettle with enough coffee, tea, and sugar to get you started -Stove, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher -Dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glasses (including wine glasses) -Non-stick spray, paper towels, dish soap, tea towels, dish cloths -Salt and pepper There are two bedrooms on the main floor. The primary bedroom is behind French doors off the living space with a King bed and sliding doors overlooking the backyard. The other main level bedroom has a Queen bed. The family bathroom has a tub/shower combination. On the lower level, the bedroom has another King bed, with lots of room, a sitting area and a built-in desk just in case you must work and a second TV. The lower level bathroom has a walk-in shower. The laundry is on the lower level and everything you need is supplied: -Laundry soap, stain remover and dryer sheets Bedding, towels, hair dryer, facial and toilet tissue, shampoo, and hand soap are also provided. Outside we have a gas BBQ and patio furniture to enjoy your meals "al fresco"! Relax on the front porch and watch the people and occasional horse and carriage pass by. Sit in the back garden while dinner cooks on the BBQ/grill. Take a walk through the back gate to the tennis courts or community swimming pool. Take a short stroll to the many world-class restaurants, Shaw Festival Theatres, and quaint boutiques that line downtown Queen Street. Visit the Niagara wineries, breweries and distilleries scattered throughout the area. Niagara Falls is just a short drive away along the scenic Niagara River Parkway. Perfectly located house in Niagara on the Lake. It’s just a short walk to the high street. Property was well decorated and clean. Had all the amenities you would need. Would highly recommend as a place to stay for a visit to Niagara on the Lake

This is a lovely little property on a quiet street. The facilities were excellent and we were able to walk to most places. Being able to take our canine family members was the icing on the cake.

Great location to the historic district, with spacious rooms, bathrooms and a well-stocked kitchen for cooking. Enjoyed having Netflix on the smart TV for an evening movie, if we stayed in.

Three retired friends for the week, we each had our own bedroom which was great. The open area is large. The kitchen is well equipped. Large bathroom, great lighting for putting on makeup. The layout of the house was so functional, I would love to live there!!!! The house is also very bright. Great location.
Our only complaint is that there were 2 stains on the carpet downstairs as well as the stairs and one dining room chair that perhaps should be addressed. Also the chair at the desk in the basement is disintegrating without being touched.

Great stay with a few friends at Nelles Cottage. Nice, quiet street, just a few blocks from Niagara on the Lake's main shopping street, and close to nice pubs and restaurants. The house was clean and comfortable.

Rooms worked really well for 4 adults and my 23 yr old loved the basement space to himself. would have been nice to have a master bathroom vs share with younger son especially with no lock on the door!! And a small chest of drawers in master to put clothes in would be a welcome addition. Backyard not that usable for outdoor meal for 4, table too small and space a bit small so we ate dinners out. Great location with green space out back (tho a bit hard to access through overgrown shrubs) and super short walk to town.

I chose Nelles Cottage because of the location and they would let me bring my dog. It was just perfect! It was three blocks to the Shaw’s Festival Theatre, and about five to the Royal George, the primary reason for going to NOTL. But then I discovered the Butlers Barracks about two blocks away with a huge off-leash field with lots of friendly people and their dogs.
The house itself was great, with front porch seating in the afternoon, and table and chairs in the lush back yard for lattes (from Balzac’s, 3 blocks away) and breakfast in the morning. The kitchen was well-equipped. Everything was spotless, and perfect with three bedrooms for our group of four.
All of our group, some from as far away as California, loved NOTL and Niagara, and Nelles Cottage checked all the boxes. I hope to come again and stay there next year!

Belles Cottage is situated in a quite neighborhood that is within easy walking distance of the beautiful town of NOT (less than 2 min). It’s also an easy drive from the cottage to Niagara Falls.

The booking and check in process were very fast and professional. The cottage is ideally located a short stroll from Old Town. Well equipped with all the essentials. They even had provided an extra BBQ tank in anticipation that the one we were using might run out. Bed was comfortable. Our dog loved the back yard and the nearby dog park. Will definitely book again.

I cannot provide feedback on the cottage as I did not use it. I can provide a review of my experience with Niagara Holiday Rental. In short, I found their empathy, flexibility compassion,and customer service to be horrible.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I had booked the cottage to stay with my wife,both seniors,and our 90+ parent. Unfortunately, our dog became ill (she lost her sight) with some complications. Since my cancellation insurance did not cover dogs, I contacted Niagara Holiday Rentals to explore alternatives. They told me that I was not entitled to a refund (which I knew) nor could they do anything to help me with the situation. I asked if I could gift it to a friend and I was told no and since I booked & paid for the cottage, I had to always be present too. I called to clarify this condition and I was told yes. With that limitation, my wife and our 90+ parent could not use the cottage either, since I would have to be with my dog, even though they were part of the initial group. It was very disappointing that this organization, in extenuating circumstances, will not try to help its customers by exploring all opportunities to provide flexibility. This is not the customer service one expects from any organization but particularly one tied to tourism. All they seemed to be interested in is the revenue and used their policy as the crutch. A company with such values should not be entrusted with your business. I would highly recommend that you stay away from them.

Was comfortable and had everything we needed for a 3 day hiking trip in the Niagara area. The owner was very supportive when we had a bathroom backup issue.

We rented Nelles Cottage for 4 nights in the off season (March). Location is excellent -- especially since we were able to bring a small dog who enjoyed the parks out back. Was spacious for 2 adults. Could see 4 there, but kitchen is very small (enclosed) so be aware that only 2 people can fit in there at any one time. Basement we did not use. Very basement-y, not much light & steep stairs. Overall, would rent again purely due to location.

Well situated home that is close to the trail and theatres. The home is comfortable, although the kitchen is difficult to cook in because of a lack of counter space. Take cooking utensils, as the ones there are quite basic. Overall, it’s a great location and a comfortable, spacious place. The master bedroom mattress is very comfortable.

NOTL is a lovely town. Backyard was nice. House was clean. Only downside was that there was no ability to watch the TV in the basement. There was a firestick upstairs, but we weren't able to watch the downstairs TV.

We cycled from the cottage twice and enjoyed quiet, flat parkways and rural routes with wide shoulders and courteous drivers.
