About this house rental
Located in Hiawassee, this attractive house for $268 per night is a great choice for your next break. Beautiful Bel Aire Overlook, a Hiawassee mountain home with a gorgeous year round view of the Appalachian mountains and Lake Chatuge. Enjoy a large porch with western exposure. This home has 3 bedrooms. Two queen bedrooms with TV's are on the main level with 2 baths. One bathroom has a tub shower combo and the other has a jetted garden tub. Fully furnished kitchen and washer and dryer on the main level. The living room on the main level has a large sofa and sitting areas with a beautiful view of the mountains and a wood burning fireplace. The kitchen table has seating for 5 and there are 4 bar stools at the kitchen counter. A spiral staircase leads to a downstairs second living area with a large pit group sofa for reclining to watch movies or TV. Downstairs also has a kithchenette with a second refrigerator, microwave, stove and sink. The third bedroom downstairs has king bed and TV. A full bathroom is also downstairs as an ensuite to the king bedroom. A separate area has a pool table, TV and seating with access to the outside lower level. There is a 4 person high bistro table seats 4 seats at regular height Extra bedding for children or petite adults on 2 padded cots with sheets & blankets. Dish Network & Wii box available. Two steps to the main floor and wrap around balcony. Come and visit, you will not believe the view!

This was our 4th stay at this property, so obviously, we enjoy it a lot. We were even there for Thanksgiving this time. Besides being a great location, the place is always clean and has all the amenities that we need. And we're generally able to communicate with the property managers as needed. Overall, a great place !

My buddy and I brought our 2 kids each for a few days and had a blast. Upstairs and downstairs both had a kitchen and laundry, so nice. If I ever go back to the area I will for sure try to stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bel Aire Overlook in Hiawassee. First it should be mentioned that the drive from Atlanta is a delight once you get in the mountains. Breathtaking scenery for miles and miles. The view from the cabin porch is spectacular. In our short stay we were blessed with sunshine as well as dramatic thundershowers. What a show! The place is so comfortable. Two big bedrooms upstairs and another one downstairs. The bottom floor is really another apartment as well as an entertainment venue. Karen keeps in touch and makes sure everything goes smoothly. Can’t say enough good things about the location and service.

This is our second stay at Bel Aire overlook and we're still impressed with the outstanding views and quiet, secluded location. We like the dog friendly policy, too.

My wife and I stayed here with another couple fir the weekend. The house is very spacious with three bedrooms, two on first floor and one on lower floor. All bedrooms have full baths which made our stay very comfortable. The lower floor is well equipped with a pool table and TV. The view from the main floor is south facing the great mountains of Georgia. The kitchen is very well equipped. The front portion is very spacious. There was also a fire pit with stairs. Having stayed several times in Hiawassee this is by far the best location we’ve stayed in.

We had a great experience staying at this cabin. The manager was very helpful and accommodating in a situation we had. Karen was great to work with and paid attention to every detail. Only one small thing. The spiral staircase that goes to downstairs apartment part is very narrow and steep. Just wanted anyone older not to plan to sleep or hang out down there. The downstairs is very nice though and even has its own kitchen if you need one. The reclining sectional down there has heat and massager. Really nice!! And the view from the top deck is gorgeous! I would recommend this place.

Was looking for a property with a view and this one delivered. The pictures do not do the view justice. There is a 180 degree view of the mountains and the lake. The location is a very short drive up the mountain from town. The check in and policies are a little different from other VRBO's but it all worked out.

Location of the property was near the Appalachian trail for hiking. Very nice location and view and the the property itself and owners were excellent.

The property was as advertised, 3 BR, 3 baths. There is a tight spiral staircase that connects the two floors on the interior. There are exterior stairs on each end of the home. This is a great location for a family.
The home is high on a hill and difficult to walk, but we did ever day. I do not recommend unless you are physically fit.
The home has wonderful views and is close to groceries and Hiawassee Brewing Company.

Me and my husband enjoyed our stay very much. The neighborhood is quite and the view from the balcony was amazing. Really nice location too - close to the shops, restaurants and different trails. Will come back during summer :)

This property was a wonderful place for our family to get together. There was ample room on deck for everyone to hang out and eat after our day on lake. It was close to everything, but tucked away for total privacy. Karen was also very accommodating to all our needs.

While the property itself was quite modest, the owner/manager could not have been more helpful. It was clean and well equipped but the best feature by far was the view from the deck. We ate all our meals outside looking down across the valley and lake. Hummingbirds came constantly to the feeders.

Great Place with Amazing Views
This is a great house in a great location with a truly amazing view. It was very clean and well outfitted. Kitchen was well stocked. Large bedrooms. Comfortable beds. It was well represented in the online listing. You are within minutes of Lake Chatuge. A large grocery store is 5 mins away. Also nearby restaurants. The owner reached out after arrival to make sure we had what we needed and that everything was in order--very responsive. We had a wonderful time with our daughters, their husbands, and dog during our 4 day stay. The only gripe I have, which is pretty minor, is the check-in process. To check in you have to text the owner no earlier than 3:30 p.m. on the day of arrival (check in is at 4) to receive a code for the key box and you have to allow up to 20 mins to receive the code. It just seems like a lot to coordinate while driving to the property. It would be nice if you could do all of this texting earlier in the day and the owner could ask the renter to respect the check in time. But, maybe that has failed in the past and people show up whenever they want. Either way, not a big deal. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!

This 3 bedroom home was more than we needed but very perfect! Clean, comfortable and beautiful view. Everything we needed to cook, grill and relax on the deck was provided. Both a coffee pot and a Keurig! Only a couple minutes to town, shopping and dining. Pool table was great! Very quiet and super comfortable for sleeping. Highly recommend this home and will visit again when we are in the area!

Perfect and Comfortable Getaway
This 3 bedroom home was more than we needed but very perfect! Clean, comfortable and beautiful view. Everything we needed to cook, grill and relax on the deck was provided.
