We are located Downtown with Casinos, nightclubs, and sporting venues within 5 min. Self-entry check-in and gated parking are available. Guest access You have access to the entire loft. Feel free to cook a meal, relax, and take a hot bubble bath. We have a Ring Doorbell ring outside the unit.

When you pull up front it is a little messy outside but it is a urban area. The place is very well laid out inside. The host has paid attention to details. We enjoyed the popcorn and they have cotton balls and Q-tips for your use. The only downside was heavy fragrance on the pillows on the couch. We are sensitive to smell but this was really strong. Some folks like that. It is a good location for doing things downtown.

I would recommend this property if your doing anything in the downtown area. The building looks sketchy but once inside it’s a nice cozy stay. Check in was simple and the host was great, I would definitely stay again.

This was our first time staying in a loft downtown. After figuring out the key situation, the rest was a breeze. The local was very close to some cool pubs and we had a very good time. The loft was well stocked and a very cool place. We would stay again if we were looking for a spot! :)

Overall, the loft itself was nice, open space, clean, comfortable bed, snacks and coffee provided. I was not impressed with neighborhood as we came across homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk or the lack of address on the outside of the building. No markings in side building/hallways to direct you to your room. Was OK for a one night stay.

Chanavia does a lovely job maintaining this space. We were 2 friends visiting from Toronto area to see a baseball game, some concerts and explore the city. It was located about a 15 minute walk from the downtown core, maybe 25-30 from the ballpark, or a very short uber/lyft drive. Some people may find the immediate surrounding area and building a little off-putting at first but the loft Chanavia provides was beautifully kept and very welcoming. For a smaller group I would certainly consider staying there again as it provided us with everything we needed and in close proximity to where we needed to be. Lovely space!

The apartment itself was very clean, perfect lighting location, the apartment has a very cool industrial vibe but feels warm and homey, the host goes above and beyond. The parking lot, outside of the building itself and the interior stairways look pretty rough but DO NOT let that deter you, the apartment and host are great and we will stay again when we are in the area.

Access to building good. Owner was very responsive. Left lots of items like microwave popcorn, cerial boxes, instant noodle soup etc. Parking was good and felt very secure. Area really has no pedestrian traffic so quiet. Would rent again if I am in Downtown Detroit again.

This unit was absolutely beautiful despite the industrial look of the outside of the building. Our host was easy to communicate with and provided every amenity you could think of inside the unit. Easy walk to downtown with many dining options nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was clean and had all the necessities. Neighborhood was quiet but looked a little rough at night. The only downside was it was an unseasonably warm weekend and there was no air conditioning.

This loft was perfect for us (couple). Clean, large space and super cute with lots of extras provided ie. snacks, coffee, flat iron, floss etc. Communication with the owner was excellent. Close enough to downtown to walk (30 minutes to Ford Field). Definitely would recommend.

The apartment was beautiful, clean, and cozy! The personalized note showed just how much they care about their guests. Communication was there and they made sure we had absolutely everything we needed. It was our first time to detroit and if we visit again we know where we are staying

Very thoughtful host. Lots of amenities in case you forget something. Plenty of snacks: a plus when you've arrived late or early. Nice book of things to do, places to eat in the immediate area and surrounding.

The building is what you would expect of an older refurbished property. While the exterior was a bit rough, the unit itself was great. You can tell that the owner makes sure to provide a clean and safe experience along with providing little things that helps make your stay more enjoyable.

Had a short weekend stay and this was our first time in Detroit. Absolutely loved the location as it was literally within 10minutes of most of the points of interest we visited. The apartment is in a somewhat nondescript area but was lovely. We were impressed with all the little details a traveler enjoys, coffee/hot cocoa, plenty of cooking wear, extra pillows and blankets, etc...

I celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday. It was a lovely apartment. Everything was just as pictured. She even decorated for a small fee. It was very nice. The owner was very responsive, nice and helpful. She was there for any concern or question I had.

Everything was great. The place was clean and cozy. Chavania was super accessible and responded quickly. Definitely would stay here again in the future.

The place itself was very nice but the location was not good. Also it walking into the hallways was just nasty and always smelled like weed. It wasn't a little bit it was massively stinky. We were shocked at how nice the place was considering the surrounding area. The loft itself was amazing though if you could get over everything else you would be happy.
