Standard modern hotel located on 18th Street. Next door to Keystone Centre and convenient for restaurants and shops but not downtown. There is a leisure pool but no good for adult swimming (great for kids - slides). There is a fitness centre (not used). On site restaurant but also plenty of other restaurants within close walking distance. Had facilities in room such as fridge, coffee maker.
I didn't bring a car so distance (in 30 degree heat) was a bit far to walk to downtown (about 40 mins). No Uber in Brandon at this time, but taxis available and cheap.

The staff were kind and accommodating. I felt good that there was security for the building given how large the building was.
This is obviously outside the hotels control but the party hockey parents were absolutely out of control loud, and kept waking family up. They were obviously all congregated outside in the hall or had a door open, and their children running wild.
I’d be incredibly embarrassed if I were them. There were plenty of other families who had large travel days, early morning outside of the hockey groups.
