For the price and age of the hotel I thought it was great. Knowing the cost is at the lower end I did not expect a perfect brand new place but would definately stay there again
I actually can't think of anything.the age definately showed in the bathroom but for price it was what to be expected

The breakfast was good. Enjoyed the Belgian waffle maker. The fruit was fresh, nice sized tangerine oranges, the bananas were perfectly ripe, not spotted at all. Juice machine had a nice selection of 4 flavors. Had boiled eggs and cooked sausages to serve, and a nice selection of cereals and milk. The eggs were okay, tasted like they were maybe omega rich eggs, which sometimes give off a very slight fishy taste in the yolk. Might want to consider switching to just regular eggs. (Daily egg consumer, so am familiar with different types of farmed eggs). The breakfast sausages were also tasty.
We liked the bed, comfy and nice blankets and pillows. The drapes were good to keep out bright morning light, for longer rest.
The pool while small, was adequate as was the hot tub. Nice for relaxing.
Our room unfortunately had dried ketchup on the arm of the sofa, which had to be washed off with a cloth, when we arrived. Easily missed at first glance.
The shower needed some updating with some new caulking under the faucet. The water pressure was great actually, but the shower head leaked tiny spray a little off in odd directions which will hit the ceiling and wear out the popcorn ceiling and make it wet. The shower itself was nice and the bathroom clean, but the hot shower water ran a little light brown at the very end, likely from old plumbing or hot water tanks. Not uncommon in older hotels.
