Location was great

No handrail on stairs and had a family member fall and injure.

We spent a night here after leaving our other stay at Saltwater Hostel after having a significant amount of money stolen from our room there, with no safety measures and a careless owner. We were glad to stay here for our last night in San Juan Del Sur for the same price. They had proper security measures here with a good door/lock and a safe for our valuables. They also had hot water and a better breakfast than our other stay, for the same price we were impressed.
Nothing bad to say here.

good location, nice cafe downstairs, number of issues with the room (no water, toilet blocked, safe didn’t work). staff were sullen and unhelpful.
staff never smile, apologise, explain, rarely look up from their phones. the breakfast cafe staff were poorly trained. had to pay for a 2nd cup of coffee at the included breakfast!
