About this house rental
Nestled in Corozal District, this attractive house for $249 per night is a great option for your next break. Our Single Family home/house is nestled RIGHT on a beautiful white sand beach, offering magnificent views of the Caribbean Sea. You just step off the big front porch right unto the beach. It s perfect for couples, families or friend getaway trips. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to dine in or dine or on an island with some of the best cuisine in Central America/Caribbean. There are 3 pools & kayaks that our guests have full access to. There is also an onsite PADI dive/tour shop where every kind of adventure can be booked. In addition to the two bedrooms, both having king size beds and full bathrooms with double sink vanities, there is also a loft with 2 extra long twin beds and a sitting area. The loft is fully air-conditioned and also has a ceiling fan. The living room boasts a 50" TV set up with Roku. Wifi is free and works very well in our villa. Our kitchen has all of the modern conveniences including a dishwasher and a full size stove, stainless appliances and solid service counter-tops. We have a table and six chairs in the kitchen. We have two covered porches on our villa- one on the front facing the sea and the other one on the back of the home. The front porch measures 44 feet by 12 feet and the one on the back is 44 feet by 7 feet. The front porch has 4 lounge chairs, and a table with 6 chairs for outside dining. The back porch has a table with 2 chairs and a sitting area with a couch and coffee table. For additional sleeping accommodations, there is a queen sleeper in the living room. Our home is concrete construction with all electric appliances. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS 15% OF BOOKING AMOUNT DUE AT TIME OF CHECK-IN. ONLY MASTERCARD AND VISA CREDIT CARDS ARE ACCEPTED.

While the property was very nice, the service was abysmal! The greatest problem was with the Gem Restaurant. On our final night, we decided to go to the restaurant, as they had gotten lobsters that day. We arrived at 5:00 pm and were never served our food until after 7:15. The lobsters offered were quite small and the waitstaff quoted a price of $50.00 US per lobster. Needless to say, we did not have those. When we arrived, we were the only diners in the restaurant. Still, it took us over half an hour to have our drink order filled. We had to repeatedly ask the waiter (Sergio) to take our dinner order. After that, a total of eight people came into the restaurant and ordered after us. All of their food came before ours. When the food finally came, my dinner was cold, and my husband found a wingless fly crawling around in his dinner. He sent it back to the kitchen, untouched and the waiter was singularly uncaring. At the end of the meal, we were charged for that dinner. Also, our drink glasses were never cleared and we had to take them up to the bar ourselves. After asking repeatedly for the check, we had to wait an additional 10 minutes for Sergio to bring the check, after he took another newcomer's order for drinks. After getting the check and letting the bartender (Luce) know of our dissatisfaction with everything, she said it was not her fault. I am frankly amazed that the owners of this establishment continue to be in business with such terrible staffing.

If you want a stay away from the hustle and bustle, then Sapphire Beach Resort is it. Many days, it felt like we had our own personal beach. The staff is great, the food at the restaurant is fantastic, hard working folks cleaning the area every day. Maid service daily, the only negative is the trash that floats in on the north side of the island. Although the resort clean it up daily , what washes up on the beach, it was sad to see it all in the water.

It was a wonderful place. Located far from town and far from noise and people. The staff on site are great as well as the grounds crew. the house was furnished perfectly.

We stayed here for over a week and loved every minute if it. We woke up and drank coffee to a beautiful ocean sun rise every day.
The loft was perfect for our two children and having two bedroom suites for the adults was great too.

It is truly a unique experience to stay in a house right on the beach in the Caribbean Sea. As I write this I am thinking how quiet it is in my own home because I’d gotten used to the sound of the waves crashing on the barrier reef. Also enjoyed being right by the pier where we caught many a boat in to San Pedro Town. Very friendly owner neighbors who gave us lots of Island advice like spending a day on Caye Caulker which wound up being a highlight of the trip. Also cannot recommend the Belize Food Tour enough! This is my third time to Belize, and I did not even know that the Fried Jack is the National food of Belize! Also had some fantastic conch ceviche. All in all a great family trip with teens which isn’t always easy to do!

Beautiful single home (not condo) with plenty of room and set in a perfect location. The front porch is literally just a few steps from the water and resort dock. Only negative was the Sargassum Seaweed which had come in to the beach. This is seasonal, though so only seems to be present in early Spring. The host was very responsive to any questions and concerns throughout the process. The resort staff were also very friendly and helpful. The drive time (golf cart) to San Pedro is approximately 40 minutes so plan that into your activity schedule. Overall, a great visit!!!!!

We had an amazing stay, the home was very clean, beds were super comfortable with great linens, and the view is everything! We really enjoyed the beautiful outdoor dining table and lounge chairs! Perfection! We wished we could have stayed longer! The few basics that were missing (garbage bags, sponge or dish brush) were provided when asked for. Excellent customer service from Gian prior to our trip - so helpful and informative. We would love to visit again!

Beautiful house with all the amenities. Great On-site staff to answer questions. Wonderful dive shop. Owner gave us an incredible manual with everything we needed to know. This was the best place we have stayed in in all the years of using VRBO!

Sally was a very thorough and responsive host and the on-site staff was also. This is truly a quiet get away- meaning you won’t be in the midst of the party, or probably close to it. If that’s okay (as it was for us) the house is lovely- with big front and back porches and a little on-site restaurant that’s a gem. Two big master bedrooms are very comfortable, and the loft is too, but not private and requires those staying up there to utilize one of the other two bedrooms’ baths. So for more than two couples, it’s just worth knowing that in advance.
Sally’s is a nice bright home directly facing the open sea at the quiet north end of the island with a pool and lovely breezes to enjoy.

We had a great time staying here. It was beautiful, quiet, the unit we were in was just what we needed and right off the white sand beach. The staff was so so helpful, helped get us everywhere we needed to go , and everyone was super nice. I would recommend! Thank you for a wonderful stay

It covered the beach and at times was thick all the way to the dock. Having a beautiful beachfront home was ruined due to this rotting garbage smelling grass. The resort gave its best effort to remove as much as possible every day but they could never get ahead of it. The beach was unusable. We had to drive in our golf cart on very bumpy roads about 35 to 40 minutes each day to find a beach that wasn’t inundated with this grass. We did enjoy the home and the resort grounds as a whole. We ate in the restaurant a few times and the food was always good. It was just such a huge disappointment to not be able to use the beach right outside our door..

Beautiful place right on the water
Beautiful place, just as described and pictured! It’s about a 45 minute golf cart ride from San Pedro but we coordinated with the owner to have a golf cart ready for us at the water taxi which was great!

Belize is wonderful!
Every single person we met in Belize was so friendly and kind. Covid has really impacted them and they are eager to have tourists back. The Covid restrictions here are more serious than at home. And we still managed to have the best vacation ever. We used No Worries tours for all our excursions and they were awesome. Belize is so gorgeous, has delicious food, and Sapphire Beach is the perfect getaway place.

The property is well taken care of and the staff on site are amazing. If you have ever stayed in a place where people hated their jobs, this isn’t it. I can’t say enough about the unit itself. The only disappointment we had was the unit wasn’t available for us to extend our stay.

Beautiful home off the beaten path
We enjoyed our stay at Sapphire Beach. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We were truly right on the beach. We knew we were going to have a 35 minute drive from town. With all the rain, the road was almost impassable close to the resort. You had to drive through a lake and our golf cart flooded out twice. Don’t even think about walking on the beach if any of the sea grass has washed up. You will get eaten alive by the bugs. I was truly saddened by the amount of garbage along the beach and basically everywhere you went. The resort was very clean and well kept, but walk outside and it was a different story. Our house was amazing. The only downside was the master bedroom bed. Every time you got in or out of the bed, it felt like it was going to collapse and made horrible noises. We aren’t large folks either. We went fishing and snorkeling with the No Worries staff at the resort.. it was so convenient and they gave us everything that was promised. If you are looking to get away from the San Pedro crowd, this is a perfect place. We ate at the restaurant on 3 different occasions. One night they went out of their way to make us burgers, when it wasn’t on the menu. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and fishing. It was a great vacation spot. We can’t say enough about the wonderful staff!
