The flat is in a great location walkable from St Erth station and the nearby bus stop serving St Ives and Penzance. It was very close to where our other friends were staying. We've been to that area about 4/5 times now. Ferney Croft is good value for money and ideal for 2/3 people in our view. Derek the host is absolutely wonderful and has thought of everything you might need and with nice extra touches like the fudge/biscuits and condiments/tea/coffee/oil etc.
The double bed is small and challenging to get into for two people with access from only one side. Appreciated being shown everything but quite alot to process after a 6-7 hours journey in our case. Instructions were left out for everything anyway. We were given the short intro as we had informed Derek we had to leave for a running late appointment. He may wish to consider offering arrivals the full monty guided tour or "leave them to their own devices option". We were out alot of the time so werent using all the facilities. But we appreciated he took the time to explain.

Lovely host offering a cozy apartment. Nice personal touches and very accommodating! Beautiful walks nearby straight out of the property.

Lovely quiet place but very central. Derek was a delightful host. The toiletries packs and fudge & biscuits were a great touch.
