Entire Suite: King Size Bed, Two Person Jacuzzi Tub, Gas Fireplace, Radiant Heated Tile Floor, Flat Screen TV, Stereo System with iPod dock, Kitchenette, Gas Fire and Gas BBQ, WiFi, Two Blocks to Downtown, Short Walk to Britt Festivals We stayed at the Britt Cottage on the night of our wedding, and could not have been more pleased! The suite was impeccably clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We sat outside on the private deck and enjoyed the evening twilight, cozied up by the fireplace, and de-stressed in the deep jacuzzi tub. The best features about the Britt Cottage are the personal touches and the attention to every little detail, especially in the lighting and design; everything worked together to make us feel welcomed and to create a perfect romantic environment. We highly and unreservedly recommend the Britt Cottage, especially for honeymooners or anyone looking for a romantic getaway for a night or two in cute little Jacksonville.

When we arrived we were met by a family of deer in the driveway, what a greeting! This upstairs lodging is well appointed and covered all of our needs. The firepit was a delightful surprised and was used at night with a glass of wine and in the morning with coffee. This might not be a spot for couples who have one person that wakes much earlier than the other, since the living area is one room. I got around that by sitting outside by the fire with my Kindle. A throw blanket would have been a welcome addition. All in all, a lovely spot and a block from restaurants.

My wife and I loved our stay in the Britt Cottage. The cottage proved to be just as described. Clean, comfortable and a perfect location for activities in Jacksonville. We could easily walk to downtown restaurants and shops and to the Britt Festival venue. Also, owners Mike and Laurie were very responsive and motivated for us to enjoy our stay. The Britt Cottage was exactly the accommodations we were hoping for during our visit to Jacksonville.

This was a perfect VRBO to stay in if you're wanting to visit the historic town of Jacksonville. It's in the heart of downtown where boutiques and restaurants are within walking distance. The place was well equipped with amenities and the bathroom felt more like a personal day spa! The only negative part of our experience was not being able to get in. The code we were told to use didn't work. After calling and emailing a couple times, Mike was able to reset the code and let us in. It was a stressful 20 minutes, but the complementary bottle of Tempernillo and warm fireplace made up for everything once inside. We would highly recommend this place and plan to stay again.

Beautiful, modern, clean, and cozy.
We had a blast staying at the Britt Cottage during the off season. We were blessed with a rare amount of snowfall for the area, which added to the romance of it all as we enjoyed the lovely gas fireplace and jacuzzi tub. The bed was comfortable, the outdoor grill did the trick for a home cooked meal, and there were lots of thoughtful little accommodations, wine, snacks, bubbly water, etc..
Mike and Laurie the host were very sweet and generous. Hope to stay again in the future.

The rental is exactly as it is described. It is a comfortable space in a great location. The bed is absolutely one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in, especially in a rental. The linens are so puffy you just sink into them. We loved the bottle of Quady North upon our arrival. And we never knew we needed heated floors until we experienced them in the bathroom! We would recommend that anyone planning to stay search out where they want to eat as we found options were limited in Jacksonville. We had a great breakfast at Pony Espresso and dinner at Umi Sushi and Gogi’s. We will definitely stay here again.

Great return stay! Super clean and comfortable. Love options of front and back patio. Maybe turn sensor down on front porch security light as continually kept coming on while using fire pit. Otherwise, wonderful stay as always! Thank you!

We loved the cottage. Excellently appointed. Fun items there for us to eat and drink. I'm gladly giving 5 stars and would recommend! One bit of feedback is that in the summer months (especially in the unusual heat the region has gotten), it might have been nice to either have the preset temperature on the thermostat a bit lower, or the ability to change it ourselves.
