The hotel is beautiful and located in a beautiful beachfront. I was able to watch sunrise every morning and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was also great.
The bed in my room was reall firm. I wish the room had a small table with a chair where I could sit and catch up on work.

We absolutely loved our stay at Marafiki Beach Hotel & SPA. It was our first visit to Zanzibar, and we really appreciated the smaller, personalized feel of the property. From check-in to the restaurant staff and the wonderful women at the spa, everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating.
The team helped us arrange day trips, offered plenty of activity options, and checked in on us throughout our stay, which made us feel very well cared for. The property is peaceful, beautiful, and just steps from the beach. We also enjoyed the great breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.
We chose a balcony room with a view, and it was absolutely magical. The beautiful ocean views and incredible sunrises made the experience even more special.
If we are lucky enough to return to Zanzibar, we would absolutely stay at Marafiki Beach Hotel & SPA again!
Because of the location, we relied on transportation for most sightseeing and activities around Zanzibar. Just plan your time appropriately.

Nice swimming pool, friendly staff, twice daily service and very good food.
Bar service was inconsistent at times. Cocktail quality varied daily.
