This is my second visit to The Ring and my last review was 10/10 and that score still stands. But if I could give it eleven I would - the kindness of Claire, her family and team is heartwarming... the trip last year was made very memorable for me as I randomly met a man who went on to become my love and soul mate and this trip was to celebrate our 1st year's anniversary together. I mentioned when booking this was a special trip for me and they excelled in their hospitality and kindness by leaving a beautiful orchid plant, chocs and an anniversary card in our room. So kind and thoughtful, we were very touched. As for our room, as before it was immaculate and well stocked with water, soft drinks, tea, coffee, refrigerator (containing milk for the drinks), biscuits etc. every option was catered for. The evening meals and morning breakfasts were to the usual high standards and delicious with a really large choice to suit all tastes. We were also lucky enough to have chosen a day when there was live music on the Bank Holiday afternoon, an absolute bonus, the band was great and very entertaining. I highly recommend a stay here, you will not be disappointed.

The friendliness and attentiveness of staff was lovely especially towards the dog. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and very well stocked with fresh milk, teas coffees,juices etc. the breakfast had plenty of choice and the restaurant menu was exceptional and reasonably priced. Food was delicious - shout out to the chef! Free parking. Many people we spoke too where returning customers. We would return.
Location - but only a 10 min drive to beach.

Dining area was beautifully decorated.
Breakfast was amazing.
We even had our evening meal there and we highly recommend, good value for money
Room showed slight signs of wear and tear (mainly in the bathroom)
This didn't affect our stay though and would absolutely stay again.

Room was pleasant . Plenty of tea , coffee and juice in the room. Did not use any tho.
Cannot check in until 4pm , or even sit in the pub because it does not open until then on a weekday.
Pub was cold whilst eating our evening meal. The log burner had gone out it was only 9pm. So we went and sat in our friends camper van for the rest of the evening because it was warmer. Staff were ok .
