This hotel was super lovely and rather posh, after staying in a hostel previously! It was located just off the main road, opposite the lake.
My double room was exceptionally clean and very spacious. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The room had a TV and air conditioning. The bathroom was spacious, with a walk in shower and hairdryer.
Unfortunately, I had to change rooms the next day, due to a strong smell coming from the shower drainage. I was immediately allocated a room on the upper floor, which was very large and had two beds and a much bigger bathroom, with a bath and shower. The room also had access to a private room with a hammock, with a palapa roof - so unique and unexpected!
The hotel also had a small pool, which was lovely to swim in after visiting the Mayan Archeological site of Cobá. There was also an undercover area with a hammock.
I had breakfast in the hotel on my first morning, which was freshly prepared and delicious.
The young lady on reception was the perfect host. She was professional, friendly and engaging.
