The lodge and the quietness
Bedding smelt old , no soap tray in shower, slippy shower floor

It was really nicely decorated, the outdoor furniture was a nice touch and fully equipped if we wanted to use the kitchen. Both restaurants served exceptional food
Upon checking in the lady informed us that some of the WiFi codes were done incorrectly and if it was the case to ring or pop back down before 10pm, we had no issues but it led to one of the neighbouring lodges to come and ask us to help as the restaurant was locked up and no one was answering the phone this was before 8:30pm. We were happy to help them but that’s not our job especially when we were trying to relax for my partners birthday.
The pricing for the mini bar was a little steep also, my recommendation would be to go to Sainsbury’s which is a 6 minute drive.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location of restaurant was excellent as well. I booked a birthday package for my friend which was all set up when we arrived at the lodge. Everywhere was spotless and the hot tub was amazing. We booked the restaurant on our first night and the menu had a wide variety of dishes to choose from and the food was amazing we sent our compliments to the chef.
It would have been easier if there had been enough space to park 2 vehicles as we stayed with friends that were from a different part of the country to us so couldn't come in one car. We had to unload our car then go and park it in the restaurant car park so our friends when they arrived could park at the lodge and unload their car. Also had to do the same when leaving so if was a bit of a faffing about and would have been easier if we could have parked both cars at the lodge.

Didn’t get chance to enjoy this as our car broke down had to be towed away so lost several hours sorting this. Only 2 hours In jacuzzi after a bad bad stay
