The cabin was perfect for 2 people and a dog but the twin room is small so better suited to children. The lounge and kitchen are spacious and well equipped. Hot tubs one of the best we have used

Not much. We werent sure if you could walk across the golf course to the restaurant so drove every time but a very small point

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding nearby at Clayfield Farm. The lodge was very clean and beautifully decorated. There was two children and two adults staying and it was perfectly big enough for all of us, especially with having two bathrooms. The customer service was excellent too. We noticed some ants near the sink on the first evening (as others have commented) but after sending a message after hours,, someone was round in less than 5 minutes with some baits, and we didn't see any more for the duration of our stay. I'd definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Location great, lovely grounds. Quiet.

Unfortunately we had no hot water or heating during our stay. As it was after 7pm we could not contact anyone about the issue. So it was cold and cold showers. Reported the next morning but we were checking out. No offer of compensation . There should be an emergency number to contact after hours. For the money we paid you don’t expect that.
