Wunderschöne Unterkunft!

Die schönste Unterkunft auf unserer 2-wöchige Islandreise. Sehr gut ausgestattet und der Whirlpool ist ein Traum.

Wir hatten leider kein Glück mit den Nordlichtern aber das hatte nichts mit der Unterkunft zu tun. ;)

Our favourite stay while travelling Iceland. Beautiful small house in the middle of nature

This was one of the most beautiful stays while travelling Iceland. It is set pretty much in the middle of nature and the house was quite big for two people and nicely furnished. The hot tub with naturally hot water was also just an incredible add-on. Would absolutely go there again and also for longer.

A wonderful and lovely cabin isolated

Such a wonderful place. Isolated and quiet. The hottub was a lovely experience, facing the sunset on the mountain. We loved our stay there, the cabin is lovely, we wish we could have stayed longer.

Private large cabin, nice hot tube, nice area, nice Benedikt who was very helpful.

Narrow place for rhe double bad. Misleading pictures shows a sea in front but there is no sea there.

Excellent cabin. We stayed at the blue cabin 4. Spacious, comfortable, well equipped kitchen, an outside gas bbq pit, and a hot tub! Great to relax in.

Wish we could have stayed longer

Large, beautiful, well-equipped cabin (BBQ, your own private Hot Tub). A place you could easily live in.

It was nice and warm to the point of being almost too warm - and the only way to regulate was to open the windows. The sink in the bathroom is tiny. Small issues in an otherwise perfect place.

wonderful cabin, all clean and also with a fantastic jacuzzi.

Small details were missing that I think would be very easy to complete. For example there is no plug in the bathroom so you can't shave in front of the mirror,, pots and pans but no drainer for pasta... but all these little details don't detract at all from the amazing cabin.

what an amazing place! the beautiful views, the hot tub, the grill, the hot tub, the comfortable living area, the hot tub…. Magical natural hot springs soak right on the deck of the unit! Amazingly quiet other than the sounds of nature. wish we could stay the whole week!

Incredible place in a middle of nowhere. Luxurious cabin with all the facilities you need to spend a night or a week if you want. Surroundings, nature and fiords are simply astounding.

Amazing, wish we had more days to spend there just to relax!

The place is amazing. Idyllic for a couple, a tip would be to buy food beforehand and use the grill provided at the place. The surroundings are lovely and the place is super cosy. Hot tub was great too. Also, very clean place and well equipped! Great to relax and unwind!

The perfect place to stay for those venturing up the Strandir coast!

The location is wonderful and the cabin has lots of amenities one might need to self cater. The hot tub is easy to use and was perfect for waiting for the Northern Lights to make an appearance. Love the heated floors!

While I love the heated floors, it did become quite hot at night. I've stayed here twice now and I did have to open the windows to cool things down. The front door should be fixed at some point.

Great warm stay

We loved the warmth and privacy wood cabin and a adjoined hot tub! Well equipped cabin (you will need to bring the coffee - there is a filter machine). Great views - you can spend a quite and relaxing evening in the outside hot tub. Keys waited for us in a locked safebox at the door - we never met the hosts (no need) - we were free to arrive at our own time schedule

My wife and I loved Hvammur 4!

I can not say enough nice things about this cabin! It's the perfect place for couples. It was warm and cozy and spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. The hot tub made it even more enjoyable. We particularly appreciated the coffee that was provided. My wife and I absolutely loved this place and wish we could've stayed longer.

It would've been nice to have a bit more sugar and creamer for our coffee but that's really nitpicking. The only thing I disliked about Hvammur 4 was we couldn't stay there longer!

Probably the best place we stayed at in Iceland

Everything about the place was wonderful. Super clean and everything was new, the kitchen was incredibly well equipped and had everything we needed to make everything from soups to steaks, the grill outside worked wonderfully, and the hot tub was very enjoyable. The shower was amazing and the beds were very comfortable. Overall a great room, absolutely worth the drive to get there!

You need to arrive with all the food and not forget anything, since the nearest supermarket is a bit of a drive away and it may close by the time you check in and then drive to it. The big knife in the kitchen could use some sharpening, but was still very usable. Otherwise everything was great.
