We had a wonderful stay at Doda Artisanal Cave Hotel. The hotel is located in Ortahisar, a charming and quiet town in Cappadocia. Most of the nightlife and activity is in Göreme, about a 15-minute taxi ride away, but we actually enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. If you're looking for a quieter experience, the location is perfect.
The hotel itself is beautiful. We stayed in Room 104 with the private indoor pool, and it was amazing. The staff were incredibly kind and hospitable, and the breakfast was one of the best we had in Turkey, always fresh and delicious. We also loved the two friendly cats on the property.
The only suggestion I would offer is to stay on top of some maintenance items. We noticed a leaking toilet, a loose flush panel, and some wear around the pool door hinges and bathroom areas. This is such a special property that I'd hate to see these small issues take away from its charm over time.
Also, don't miss La Reina Restaurant, just a short walk from the hotel. It was easily one of the best restaurants we visited in Turkey, with outstanding food and service.

I had a great experience with the staff (owner, front desk, kitchen staff). Room size, amenities and decoration was superb. The standard breakfast was fantastic, too bad we had only one.
The quality of the breakfast (a sandwich) when you leave too early, before the time for standard breakfast, is poor. Almost uneatable.
Location maybe is too far from all the action, but if you want quite time, this is perfect.

Unique room (including a reading cave!). Excellent breakfast. Fantastic view from the property. Good location for exploring the region. Restaurants within walking distance. Helpful staff.
Shower head needed repair. The room was kind of dark, but the when the staff heard that, they brought us an extra light.

The decor of the overall place was nice
1. The private pool was very dirty, and water was also not clean.
2. Shower in the bathroom doesn’t work.
3. Bath Towels should be in the room. We had to request some the next day.
4. Toiletries should be updated daily.
5. Water bottles were never provided after day one.
