Nestled in Indianapolis, this attractive house for $304 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Our spacious home is located right in the heart of Fountain Square. Newly restored and updated but still maintaining its original charm, this is the perfect home away from home to enjoy during your time in Indy. The family room features a decorative fireplace with built-ins on either side, a fully equipped kitchen with concrete countertops and all stainless steel appliances, spacious bedrooms, and more! The large windows throughout our home allow for lovely natural light. There are multiple fun living spaces for your group, and the indoor/outdoor areas allow for effortless dining and entertaining. All of our bedrooms have super comfortable mattresses and high-end linens to ensure you get a great night's rest (your comfort is important to us!). We can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. ** KEY FEATURES ** -High-Speed internet -Two Smart TVs with Netflix and Hulu (in the living room and master bedroom) -Heat and A/C -Fresh linens, towels, soaps and shampoos are provided for you (hotel-style amenities) -Fully loaded kitchen with appliances (Blender, Refrigerator, Coffee Maker (Keurig), Microwave, Oven, Dishwasher, Ice Dispenser, Water Dispenser, and more!) - 6 person Dining Room table with additional seating in living room ..and much more! ** BED CONFIGURATION ** 1 Master Bedroom on 1st floor - 1 King bed 2 Bedroom on 1st floor - 2 Full beds 3 Bedroom on 2nd floor - 2 Full beds 4 Bedroom on 2nd floor - 2 Queen beds ** MY FAVORITE THINGS TO DO NEARBY ** Shopping and Attractions: - Lucas Oil Stadium (1.5 miles away, a quick 10 min drive to catch an NFL Colts game) - Mass Ave Arts District: (1.8 miles away) Art galleries, food, eclectic boutiques - Indianapolis Motor Speedway (7.6 miles away) ** DETAILS TO NOTE ** -The home is 100% yours just like a hotel with a professional cleaning crew that comes in right before your visit. The whole check-in/check-out process is keyless so you can drive up at any hour, press a combination on the door lock and you're in :) -Your booking automatically includes a damage protection policy. Should any minor accidental damages occur during your stay, we will cover you up to $1,750. We understand accidents happen, so we've got your back! However, if we determine the damage was willful or negligent, we will charge your sec deposit, plus any additional cost needed based on the cost of the damage done. -We do not currently have a washer/dryer available. The nearest laundromat is Laundry and Tan Connection, less than 1 mile away. -Fireplace is decorative and non-functioning at this time. -We have a no-tolerance rule about parties and loud noise, so please be aware that complaints from neighbors, notifications from authorities, notifications from our noise monitoring software, or any other proof of disruptive behavior or loud noise between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM will result in fines of up to $1000.00, possible eviction and / or possible legal action if authorities are involved. Nice but be prepared
This is a very cute house and has many amenities, overall a great stay.
Many past reviews mentioned problems with the plumbing so be prepared. One of the upstairs showers (and maybe the downstairs?) has the hot & cold backwards so if you cant get hot water, try the cold settings. The other upstairs shower had so little water pressure you cant even start the shower. Luckily there ended up only being 4 of us so we could make do.
Otherwise decent for a VRBO.

This was a great place for our group to stay! We enjoyed the space and each set of rooms able to have their own bathroom. They answered when we were having issues with the front door and the issue was quickly resolved.

Great location but shower water issues still exist
As the person responsible for booking for the business group, I was delighted to find such a nice home in a great location. Upon the group's return I was told about water issues with the showers. It was exactly as described by another reviewer 6 months ago - only scalding hot water in one shower, only freezing cold in the other and no pressure in the basement one. My presumption was that the issue would have been repaired since it was publicly noted 6 months ago and apparently not the first time for the plumbers to have been called out there for that same problem. The group didn't spend a lot of time in the house as they were attending a convention but it was a significant inconvenience for 7 people to have to share one shower - which is what I was trying to avoid by booking a three bath home.
Aside from that, the house was clean and comfortable.

Overall great experience staying in Fountain Square! We loved the location and proximity to areas of interest. House was very spacious for our party of 6 with an extra bedroom to spare. The beds were very comfortable and clean and the bathrooms were great as well. The kitchen is on the small side but we were not there to cook full meals. Linens from the last stay were left in closets, but it really wasn't that big of a deal for us. The only real negative was some of the furniture was literally falling apart (antique rocking chairs) and we were afraid to even touch them - they should probably be replaced in addition to some other general maintenance items. Owners were very thoughtful in providing enough coffee for our stay as well as all bathroom amenities you would expect from a hotel stay. There was even a bottle of vodka and chips left for us! Or it was left from previous renters and we enjoyed them anyway!

The downstairs shower had virtually no water pressure so I ended up washing my hair in a sink since I was the only girl. They did send repairman to check it out, he was so high he turned the cold water completely off on the showers upstairs, then broke the handle on the downstairs shower so you could only barely turn it on. The next day a plumber came out and was unable to do anything since he would have to cut into the walls to attempt to fix it, he also said this is not the first time he had been to the house and the property owners knew of the problems. Unless you can shower somewhere else or guarantee the issues have been fixed I would be careful on renting. Other than that if it wasn’t for the shower issues the house is overall nice besides a few broken things from previous renters and the missing garage opener. The area is also nice if you are coming with a family.
