The Annex at 3 East Town Cottages is a small but cosy jewel of a place to stay, and perfect for anyone who enjoys a peaceful countryside setting. The owners have invested in high quality fixtures and fittings, and access to a fridge and cooking facilities, which makes for a comfortable stay. I was grateful for the ability to adjust the heating, as the temperature dropped on the first night of my stay. I would not hesitate to stay at The Annex again.
The shower room is very small but manageable. I would have appreciated having a folding table and chair available in the bedroom/ sitting area to put my laptop on, but it wasn't really a problem for a short stay.

Amazing little annex full of everything you'd need for a relaxing break. Wonderful views across the countryside. Peaceful and rural but with easy access to towns such as Trowbridge, Chippenham and the city of Bath.
It was so nice to leave the busyness behind and spend a few slower paced gentle days in the countryside. Would highly recommend.

Great communication after booking including really helpful directions.
Beautiful setting, so peaceful with lovely views.
Well equipped kitchen. Comfy bed.
Bathroom was a bit awkward for both as we are tall.

Beautiful place, for shorter stay more than longer, unless you want to eat out or order take outs most of the time, which is plenty in the area. Or I am just use to to more equipped kitchen. Very friendly host, willing to help and socialise. Location perfect for Longleat visit.
Smaller place than you think. I am petite person and at times, especially bathroom, felt little bit claustrophobic. We were visiting during heat wave, so I understand that it were usual situation, but keep in mind that it will be very very hot. During night as well, as fan couldn't keep up. First thing i had to do was descale kettle, so water was rather hard.
