We loved EVERYTHING about this property.
This apartment is beautiful, comfortable and has everything you need for a home-from-home stay. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bathroom is a great size, the living room is cosy and the bedroom comfy. The cleanliness was second to none and the furnishings and decor are to a very high standard.
We stayed here as we got married in Gretna Green (7min drive) and it was absolutely perfect. The bedroom is very pretty and makes a fabulous back drop for getting ready photos. The apartment is quiet and private and great for exploring the Dumfries and Galloway area as well as the north coast of the Lake District.
The owners, George, and his partner, Angela, made our stay extra special and I would score them 11/10 if I could. George provided a lovely warm welcome and happily explained how the apartments had been converted from the original chapel. Angela went the extra mile to make our wedding day super special and we really appreciated it. They are lovely, lovely people and we will be back to stay in their apartment again another time.
