Located in Sanibel Island, this lovely condo for $299 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Hurricane Ian Update: The Cocohut is now open for reservations! Loggerhead Cay is one of the first complexes to welcome guests back to the island. Our beaches are open, the shelling is fantastic and Sanibel welcomes you, but please note the island is a work in progress. There will be on-going construction recovery efforts at Loggerhead Cay into 2024, both within individual units and throughout the property. The pool is open, but our landscape and grounds are still returning. We recognize that our guests just want to get back to Sanibel, but please be aware that recovery efforts are not yet complete. A fully equipped open kitchen with stainless steel appliances over looks the main living area. The dining area welcomes all guests with seating at the table or bar top, complete with an area to mix an afternoon cocktail. A tropical mural and statement chandelier make this space one of our favorites! A serene and tranquil master suite features a king size bed, ensuite private bathroom and closet space for your clothing and luggage. The guest bedroom and bathroom are their own private palm oasis. The enclosed lanai has sliders that open up to let in the sea air. Complete with a casual living area to enjoy the view and a bistro table perfect for your morning coffee. THE PROPERTY Loggerhead Cay is a well-maintained beachfront complex located on the easily accessible east end of the island, just minutes from the Causeway. The property features one of the largest heated swimming pools on the island, tennis and pickleball courts, private beach access and BBQ grills all available for you to enjoy. Elevator access is available. THE ISLAND Located about 25 miles from Fort Myers airport, Florida's Sanibel Island feels secluded, with a beautiful coastline. It's an excellent spot for shell collectors too, named one of the top shelling destinations in the world. We had a wonderful family trip to Sanibel over the holidays. The condo was beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable for our family of 6. A couple of the days were cool and rainy, but we really didn't mind. We were happy to spend a little time together indoors. The oversized sectional couch made it easy for us to hang out together comfortably. We also enjoyed using the heated pool, even on days that were a bit chilly. The beach was just a short walk from the condo. It really wasn't crowded at all and was the perfect spot for shelling. We rented bikes for the week and had a great time biking to shops, to get ice cream, and out to Lighthouse Beach. We would love to visit again!

My family has been going to Sanibel for over 20 years. Most of the time we stayed at Loggerhead Cat. Mike and Tara’s condo is absolutely beautiful. Newly renovated, very well stocked kitchen, plenty of beach chairs and toys! We absolutely loved our short stay in the Cocohut (thanks Ian). Already looking forward to going back as soon as we can!

We loved the location! It’s just a short 3 minute walk to the beach. We needed to contact the owner during our stay and they were very responsive. The condo is beautifully decorated. The screened in patio is lovely since it’s shaded in the afternoons. The nightly thunderstorms came in and the patio was the perfect place to enjoy them. I definitely recommend the Cocohut!

Week in Paradise
We loved our time in Sanibel and this beautiful condo. The owner thought of everything to make a perfect vacation. You will love the lanai overlooking the pool and the view of the ocean. The condo is clean and beautifully decorated. It was so helpful to have the cart, chairs and umbrellas for the beach especially if you are flying like we did. We can’t wait to return to Sanibel and will definitely choose to stay in this unit at Loggerhead Cay.

The beach gear, chairs, umbrellas, kids beach toys & the toys, books, & games in the unit, highchair, roll away crib, etc made the stay so nice. We had a little issue with the master bathroom door, but the hosts were very quick to respond, answer our questions & help get it resolved. If I were to recommend anything, it would simply be better quality black out shades for the master bedroom. It was a lovely view of the ocean but quite a bit of light came in promptly at 6:30 each morning. It probably wouldn't have been an issue if we hadn't had a baby that refused to sleep all night in the crib in the room with us & then refused to also sleep past sunrise. The guest room was lovely & housed 3 of our kids - they slept great & even slept in each morning as it was dark on that side of the unit. Beds were all comfortable & the unit was very clean...and I'm extremely picky. The condo was also more spacious than pictures depicted & felt very comfortable for even a family of 6. Thank you again!

Wonderful Condo
Beautifully updated and very clean condo right near the beach. We had a great time with our two young kids. The set up was perfect and they even had a full size crib. They had all the kitchen utensils and appliances we needed. Location was perfect close to the causeway and all the popular restaurants! The pool was never crowded even though it’s a larger complex. They had a wagon with beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys and boogie boards. Everything was very well thought out. Owners were very easy to contact and provided great recommendations. Would highly recommend and would book again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay in this piece of paradise in Sanibel. My husband and I couldn’t stop talking about the seashells we found or the proximity of our place to the beach and pool. This rental came fully stocked with kitchen supplies and starter items, which saved us so much money. The beds were extremely comfortable! The beach wagon, beach toys, and beach chairs helped us settle in sooner since we didn’t have to worry about renting certain items. Cannot complain and we hope to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cocohut!! We enjoyed the gorgeous view from the multi slide glass door enclosed porch. The couch, beds and outdoor furniture were very comfortable. The owners provide access to their Storage locker which had an abundance of beach toys chairs and umbrellas. Tara was so kind and made the booking and entire process so easy for us. This property is a true gem and we intend on visiting again soon!!!

We have been going to LH Cay in Sanibel since 2015 and each time rent a different condo at LH Cay but this time we found the gem. This place has it all. The 2nd BR has 2-full size beds. A collapsing full-size crib. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The decor is beautifully done. The beach gear is absolutely over the top and we appreciate the wagon & chairs. Location was good as well...right at the pool. This place has it all. We will definitely be back to this condo.

Our favorite Condo at Loggerhead Cay
We have been going to LH Cay in Sanibel since 2015 and each time rent a different condo at LH Cay but this time we found the gem. This place has it all. The 2nd BR has 2-full size beds. A wonderful unit on a wonderful property. We found everything to be clean, convenient and super well managed. Communication with the owners was fantastic - we genuinely felt that they wanted us to relax, unwind and enjoy our stay. We’ll hopefully be back soon!

This unit in Loggerhead Cay was nicely updated. Just perfect for our time on Sanibel in the middle of the winter. Tara was a very helpful owner who was very accessible.

Very cute condo. Has everything you’ll need. Beautiful grounds. Great pool. Quiet beach. We did not turn on the tv’s at all. I think that says a lot! Perfect dark beach sky for star gazing. We loved the balcony. Better view than anticipated.

GREAT LOCATION!
Loved our stay and we will absolutely be back. Great location to the ocean and restaurants. The owners did an excellent job with making sure the condo included all the essentials to make the stay feel like home. LOTS of extras for kids (games, books, coloring books, beach toys). The condo was very updated and clean.

Wonderful vacation
Clean, updated condo. We’ve been visiting Sanibel for several years, at the same complex but different condos and this was the best condo we have stayed at. We will be renting here again! Condo felt brand new and was fully stocked including keurig, beach toys, beach chairs and wagon to carry it all. Welcome binder had a lot of helpful info. We loved the farmers market and kayaking at tarpon bay. Shelling was really good too.
