Come as you are, kick off your shoes, and immerse yourself into this little tropical Paradise. Located next to Florida's highly acclaimed Stump Pass State Park on the southern tip of Manasota Key and the Gulf of Mexico. "The Pool House" is a destination within itself offering couples and family's a wonderful value added vacation and a great guest experience as well. This listing is for a 2 Bedroom, One Bathroom Suite. This home is a duplex, with another 2 Bedroom, one Bathroom suite on the opposite side. Both suites share access to our private heated pool. At our resort you will feel right at home the minute you arrive. From lush tropical landscaping to a spotless accommodation, we like to think we've thought of everything to make your stay both memorable and enjoyable. NO ferries or water taxi needed. Just drive over the bridge to our island and enjoy your freedom and spontaneity. The Pool House offers a boutique style vacation on the southern tip of Manasota Key. Included in your stay will be a heated swimming pool, bicycles, kayaks, stand-up paddle-boards, private outdoor showers with hot water, corn hole court, beach supplies, and much more! The Pool House comes recommended by the locals and is a great spot for any occasion! With a unique location and unmatched amenities, we have everything you need for a perfect vacation! Just a short walk from the house and you're inside Stump Pass State Park. This is where you will be going to the beach, launching the water toys, and making life long memories. Stump Pass State Park has one of the most beautiful pristine beaches in all of Florida! Make sure to take full advantage of our FREE Kayaks, Sups, beach wagons, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys, coolers and more!! When quality and cleanliness are important, The Pool House delivers on both and more! Lush tropical landscaping welcomes you to your suite. Enter into the open floor plan, living room, dining area and fully stocked kitchen. Cook, dine, or relax by the pool or your own back yard patio. This area is truly a tropical paradise complete with Weber grill, commercial grade outdoor table, chairs, chaise lounges, lush landscaping and soft night lighting. Don't forget to experience showering in our custom made outdoor showers. There's just nothing like showering outside under they blue sky and tropical palm trees. We love being steps from Stump Pass State Park! There are 265 acres of sandy walking trails and pristine beaches here. You can ALWAYS find a section of beach all to yourself. The wildlife here is amazing! You will see pelicans diving for fish, osprey in tree tops, and herons on the beach. Dolphins and manatee are always swimming the shoreline and sea turtles choose this paradise to lay their eggs. Don't forget to bring your camera! Also make sure to look down in the sand, Prehistoric shark teeth and beautiful shells are never hard to find and are abundant on the beaches of the Key. Go shelling at the point of Stump Pass for a truly wonderful experience, then return home to rinse your souvenirs in our Shell Cleaning Station. FYI, this listing can sleep up to 4 adults and 6 in total. Top bunks may be used by children and college age guests, not full size adults. If you've been here before, you know its allure. If it's your first time, get ready for a soul refreshing journey! Be sure to enjoy all our beach cruiser Bikes, Stand Up Paddle Boards and Kayaks! They're FREE to use and included with your rental. We had an amazing stay at Stump Pass Pool House! So close to Stump Pass and all the other beautiful beaches and shark teeth hunting! Pool House is small but it’s got everything you need and was perfect for us and our grandson! The pool and bikes are a wonderful bonus! It’s close to several good restaurants!
We enjoyed every minute and hope to come back soon!

Great property and location
We had such a great time at The Pool House! Besides beach time, we took the kayaks out via Stump Pass State park, just two blocks away. Two of us also got out on the bikes. The rest of our time was spent handing out on the patio/Tiki bar and pool. LOVED the outdoor showers! We cooked out on the grill and had all our meals at the unit- so convenient. Highly recommend this rental!

The shower inside the house looked wonderful, however I never used it! The outside shower is INCREDIBLE! We never used the shuttle service that is available, since there are bikes. Outstanding little place to stay!
We stayed for 1 week. Great communication on check-in process. Arrived after an unplanned 20 hour drive at 4:30am and the lock box worked as expected and we got into the unit with no issue. Publix is 8 mins away. Kitchen has everything you could want. Unit has 4 little coolers and 1 large cooler. Used the large cooler with provided chairs, beach towels and went to both the public beach and the adjacent park beach (10 min walk). Park beach is outstanding. Lots of shells. Room to go for a long walk down to the tip at Stump Pass. Took the four kayaks and used two of the small coolers and went out into the Stump Pass State Park 3 different days. Two days spent time paddling around with dolphins and the last day the teens spent over an hour floating around two dolphins as they played, ate and swam around us. An amazing memory. Great restaurants on Manasota Key… our favorite was Magnolia’s. A great week.

Our family of four stayed here and had a fantastic week. Everything we needed was within walking distance, or we used the bicycles provided. Everything we needed for the beach was also provided. The backyard tiki bar was a wonderful place to relax in the evening.

We stayed here for 5 nights for a quick getaway to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We had friends come and stay a night with us. We loved the property and everything that came with it. The location, amenities, cleanliness, everything is well thought out. We look forward to a return trip in the future.

The property was very clean and offered a lot of amenities (bikes that are in great condition, kayaks, wagons to tote beach gear, coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, etc). There were only 2 of us so there was plenty of room. The area is walkable and easy to bike. There is a golf cart service called Stumpy's that regularly comes by and provides free transport to and from local restaurants. (Magnolia's is incredible!) The TV connection was a hit or miss but I'm excluding that from the review since we weren't there to watch TV.

Anniversary Get Away
After weeks of searching online for just the right combination of things I found this place on Manasota Key. A surprise anniversary trip for my wife turned out to be a great experience and our stay here was a big part in it all. The owner, Peter, was easy to work with and very responsive. The house was beautifully decorated, cozy, fun, clean and full of amenities. The location was perfect and close to the beach and inter-water ways. The "toys", bikes, kayaks, beach gear were perfect and so convenient to have right at the house. If I have any constructive criticism I'd say the bed was not very comfortable but manageable. Yet all in all we loved this place and the Island and will hopefully be back sooner than later!

The Pool House
This trip was thrown together at the very last minute and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Communication was fantastic, whether that be messages through VRBO or texts directly from the owner. Home is beautiful, steps from the beach, and comes stocked with every outdoor beach item you can think of. Neat backyard with inviting landscaping, indoor heated and Tiki Bar. Would 100% stay in this place again. Thanks Peter!

Great home!
We loved our time here and would love to stay again! The little pool, the beach access and proximity to trails and kayak launch, as well as the provided bikes, kayaks, beach supplies and corn hole were amazing! The backyard space to dine and watch the game was perfect! We wish there was a clearer note in the description that the pool was shared with the other half of the duplex, but in the end, we didn’t find this to be a huge problem. Great home!!
