Clean, comfortable, and beyond expectation with tasty snacks and refreshments upon arrival …plus a delicious pastry the first morning! Well equipped kitchen. Nice sized space …quiet and private. Appreciated the good lighting and bedside tables. We enjoyed sitting on the private back patio, set in a beautiful desert pine forest. Easy drive to downtown Santa Fe. We hope to stay here again.

An ideal spot for our short stay in Santa Fe to visit the opera and explore some of our favorite walking spots. We enjoyed the private patio out back. John is a very responsive host.

Clean and accessible place.

This little casita had all we could desire and more. The space was adequate and we loved that we could bring our pups with us. Thoughtful touches surprised us all weekend long. It was nice to be close to town yet just far enough away to enjoy the quite solitude in the trees. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your lovely property. Would highly recommend!

Although it is cute the room feels like a motel. The bathroom is very small and the hot water ran out on me before I could rinse my hair. Moving the car up next to the road was annoying. My partner didn't find the bed, which dominates the room, very comfortable. I had to watch television from the bed as there was only one, sort of comfortable, chair and there was no headboard to lean against. The price was high for what it was.

I had a wonderful experience, and I would definitely stay here again. The location is in one of my favorite places in Santa Fe- It feels both secluded and is close to everything. The casita itself is very well done. Moreover, the thoughtfulness and care that the hosts put into this rental is truly exceptional. Everything from providing chips and salsa, both an espresso and a coffee machine, baked goods in the morning, and a later checkout due to luck in scheduling- this is an unparalleled level of hospitality. It's a very nice casita that is conveniently located. It was quite ideal for my little family that includes two well behaved dogs. I found the owner to be lovely and approachable though definitely without overdoing it like many do. Great stay, will be back for sure.

Very comfortable, cozy and quiet. Excellent base for all things: O'Keefe Museum, Abiquiu, Ghost Ranch, Bandolier National Monument, meals at The Tea House and The Pink Adobe and The Shed.

The most thoughtfully and tastefully put together of any place I have rented through a vacation booking service. A lovely place to sit outdoors in the woods, listening to and watching birds, as well as comfort inside. Bed, kitchen, bath all excellent and well furnished. Beautiful artwork. Introduction to some local food and drink brands a pleasure. Heavily wooded and beautiful neighborhood where one can smell the trees and breezes with (screened) open windows. A lot of attention to health and restfulness in how the place is furnished. Fully supported by the host in all ways. Couldn't have asked for more -- this place offers a truly outstanding experience. Hope to be able to stay there again when I return to Santa Fe.

The casida was clean and comfortable. The only reason I gave it a 4 was the shower. Not enough warm water for even one person. You have to turn it off and on during your wash. Also the laundry was not very accessible. We never found where to turn the light on in the garage and the machine was full of personal items. They require you to was at night.

This casita is lovely. I felt very much at home while visiting and my dog absolutley loved being able to lounge outside on the deck. The surroundings are just beautiful and Leslie, the woman who greeted me upon arrival, is hospitable and very kind. Thank you so much.

This building was a good fit for my wife and I. Just big enough, everything new or new-ish and in good working order. The location was a bit out of the way, but that was made easier when we started using Valley Road access, instead of the zigzagging that our GPS pushed--all to avoid speed bumps? It's nice and quiet, and you get instant aromatherapy when you walk out and smell the pinon-juniper aerosols wafting around you. There's a nice path along a creek for your morning stroll, if you can make it up and down the hill, and around the trees. You have to walk up a steep driveway to access your parking place, but it's a very short distance. Inside, all the appliances worked well. The host was welcoming, helpful, available, but unobtrusive--perfect! Furnishings were spare; nothing fancy, but nothing lacking. The cost was not low, but for us it was well worth it.
