About this apartment rental
You pick the pace while relaxing in our comfortable, beachfront, and clean condo home. We are pleased to share our vacation home offering casual beach living on the Gulf, for a wonderful, restful vacation. Island Sands is located on the quieter west end of Okaloosa Island. A wide variety of entertainment and shopping are nearby.
The views of the sand and surf from sunrise to every marvelous sunset are spectacular, The private balcony, patio doors and west facing corner living room windows provide endless opportunities to enjoy them.
The complex has just 27 units. Our beach is uncrowded. Two beach chairs and a beach umbrella are set up each day between March 1 and October 31, at no charge to our guests. Enjoy a long walk on the pristine white sand beach next to emerald waters. Build a sandcastle, read a book, or rent a kayak on premise.
With a short trip into Destin you can find zip lines, enjoy a pub, rent a boat, golf, or take a fishing charter. Your vacation at your speed. Enjoy our bit of paradise inside, outside, or on the balcony. We fell in love with Island Sands a few years ago and are sure you will too. Island Sands #209 has a private entrance up one flight of stairs. No crowded lobbies and elevators. An end unit - the living room is bright and sunny. The condo layout at Island Sands is terrific with a large living room open to the full kitchen. The bedroom has a king-sized bed and an attached half-bath. A full bathroom is located between the kitchen and bedroom. There is a queen-size sleeper couch in the living room. TVs in the living room and bedroom feature Smart TV flat screens with cable and wi-fi.
A well-stocked kitchen is available for those who choose to prepare their own meals. There is an in-unit washer and dryer. Grills and a bike rack for guest use are located near the pool. Bath and kitchen towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
Okaloosa Island is known for its white sugar sand beaches, emerald green waters, and countless attractions. Nearby Destin is widely known as the 'world's luckiest fishing village'. Come see the beautiful island for your first time or return over and over again. It is always a good time!

Great place! Awesome view of the beach! Condo was clean and had everything that we needed. I would recommend this unit, the owner is responsive to you immediately and is very helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

It was delightful to arrive to special wine to celebrate our retirement with a lovely note from Judy and John. Sitting on the deck in the evenings was pure delight. Having the beach chairs and umbrella set up each morning was wonderfully spoiling. We had everything we needed if we decided to have dinner in. The condo was supplied with everything we needed - coffee pods, towels, directions for food places, and a magazine filled with ideas that were available in the area. This was a wonderfully relaxing trip and we hated coming home.

Location was perfect. Chair service came in handy. Constructive Criticism: No iron No Hair dryer No salt and pepper don’t need a spice rack but basic cooking spices would be helpful A few more paper products (towel and TT) Definitely would book again!

The condo was spotless. Bed was so comfortable. Balcony view was beautiful. Nice and quiet. Close to great restaurants. Host was wonderful. Had everything we needed. .Pool is great. We were the only ones there most days. Beach service included each day. We are already planning our trip for next May.
