Great location, close to campus and a nice riverwalk into town.
Breakfast was just okay. Coffee was very good, but breakfast offerings were very basic.

The location is unbeatable for shows at the Matthew Knight arena! We also appreciated having two sinks (one in the separate toilet/shower area and one at a separate vanity station.
We were very disappointed to be woken up by exceptionally loud construction work (including saws and metal on metal) RIGHT OUTSIDE our window, from about 7am through until we checked out. We certainly understand projects and repair work are necessary sometimes, but it's unacceptable to do it on a shared wall, right outside the window, while paying guests are sleeping.

Great location, easy parking, very friendly staff, and really nice breakfast. The room was comfy and in pretty good shape (except for a few flakes/ rust on the tub).
I really wanted to like the hotel but the sound transfer between floors was awful-- both nights of our stay the people in the room above us came in from the bars at 1:45 am, and we got to listen to..... everything until about 3am. Very disruptive to getting a good nights sleep. It's probably awesome if you can get an upstairs room. But ground floor room with loud folks upstairs is no bueno.
