Downtown Inn

This has to be one of the nicest old strip style hotels I've stayed in in years. It took me back to traveling with my mom and dad in the 1970's. The room had been redone at some point and it was actually done with skill. I've stayed in a lot of "remodeled" hotels and most of them have been done as cheap as possible. You could see care had been taken in doing this remodel properly just from the appearance of the outside. Inside everything was clean from the carpet to the shower. I've stayed in high rated hotels that did not appear to be as clean. This hotel does not deserve the low star ratings on Booking.com. But, I imagine most people drop their ratings because breakfast is not included. For the difference in price between this facility and one the does offer a "Free Breakfast" you can go to a nice restaurant and get a large breakfast for less money than the difference between this hotel and the fancy ones. Or, if you want there is a gas station right across the street, I'm sure they have a lot of what you find on most Continental Breakfasts there, I did walk over and get a cup of coffee in the morning and it wasn't bad. Now this facility doesn't offer a pool or exercise room. But, I've never actually used an exercise room at a hotel, and a lot of pools are questionable to say the least at hotels.

Nothing I can think of. Clean well taken care of facility.

Clean, convenient, everything worked

WiFi speed in room I was in was 2 mb down and.5 mb up.

Everything.

Bathtub/shower, window in bathroom, had microwave and fridge, had two tables, air cooler worked well, and the wifi.

Bed mattress should have been REPLACED years ago! Did NOT sleep well at all..... Bed spread was not clean. TV setup was not user friendly. Bottom of my shoes got really black walking around the room.
