Nestled in Norris Lake, this attractive house for $796 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Our Norris Lake Vacation Rental Home - premier location on Norris Lake with your private dock - ( The Island View at East Norris Point ). Stay & Relax right on the water, Four Master Suites, all with their own private full bath, 4.5 bathroom lake front home with private dock and free public boat ramp is conveniently close by (within walking distance) for launching your boat or jet skis. The minute you walk in the front door you see the lake, and every bedroom has a lake view! The lot has a ton of character between the house and the lake as it sits closer to the lake you get more privacy than other houses offer and don’t look at the neighboring homes. When you look out over the lake your see Otto Island and Chuck Swan Nature Preserve or boats on the water. The neighborhood is a mix of residents and rentals making it very quiet. The smoke-free house is located where the Powell River and Davis Creek meet, about ten minutes down river from Flat Hollow Marina, and 15 minutes north of Springs Boat Dock. Both marinas have pumps, watercraft for rent and a grill. Additionally, you may bring your own boat and dock it in the covered slip provided at the base of the stairs leading from the house to the lake. This Beautiful lake front home has it all! Four Master Suites, all with their own private full bath. It offers a spacious 4255 sq. ft of living space and sleeps 16. All suites have amazing views of the lake and access to the over-sized decks. Open floor plan with floor to ceiling windows, vaulted ceiling, half bath, and stone fireplace in living room. Proceed downstairs to another open area, along with laundry room, rec area, and wet bar. NEW 2-Story Dock. The lake side dock has two levels, with the top level featuring one dining area and one sitting area. The bottom deck has one dining area and one sitting area that leads to the private dock. The double decker dock has ample parking for two-three boats. **You get one covered slip and room for an additional space (uncovered). The upper deck boasts tons of space for lounging with chairs, chaise lounges, and two tables with umbrellas. A stand up paddle board and kayak offer hours of fun as well. Truly stunning views from this beautiful home. We do not provide life jackets. The home has a large propane grill with free propane. The Island View Lake Vacation home rental has over 110 feet of shoreline. You will enjoy exploring the beautiful blue-green waters that span more than 800 miles of shoreline covering 34,000 acres. Across the lake from our house is Norris Point Island and Chuck Swan Wildlife Management Area, which occupies 24,444 acres on the Central Peninsula on the east shores of Norris Lake. It is an everyday occurrence to see deer, turkey and a lot of other animals feeding and watering all around the lake. That is what makes Norris Lake an ideal environment for nature lovers, sportsmen and (Family) vacationers alike. The fishing is great here at Norris Lake, year round and offers an abundance of Striped Bass, Largemouth, Small-Mouth and Spotted Bass, the Walleye, Crappie, Catfish and Bluegill. You can go fishing from our dock. WiFi is 25Mbps, unlimited, free, and secure. WiFi is fast enough for normal office use, however, not suitable for reliable streaming. Love the place on the lake. Beautiful home well kept beautiful new dock kitchen well supplied. Bill and Sandy do a great job!things to improve. The home needs to upgrade the Internet get the TV fixed in the bedroom and re-do the pool table other than that everything was great 😁

Beautiful home with amazing views and water! The property was beautiful. I have severe Arthritis so the steep hills wasn’t fun but other than that it was great!! Bill and Sandy were wonderful!

The view is beautiful. I travel with an emotional support dog & they were kind enough to let me keep her even though they do not usually abide by the this law. But they did charge me a ridiculous amount to keep. I was still very grateful. They did show up unannounced our very first day of vacation at 9am which was ridiculously rood. So be prepared, apparently they think it’s ok to stop in un announced.

The lake house is beautiful, with four separate bedroom suites that all have their own full bathroom. The view of the lake is stunning, kitchen is well appointed, and it’s great swimming right off the multilevel dock. Highly recommend this place.

Relaxing stay
We had a relaxing stay. The house was only two levels which was nice for multiple people that were with us with knee and walking issues. The kitchen was well stocked. Overall the house was comfortable.
The dock was very nice for boats and fishing. In the pictures it looks like the stairs go to the dock but there is a steep cement hill to the dock which is in the pictures when you look closer. That was challenging for my husband who has trouble walking. I did not like having to walk across unstable wooden planks from the hill to the dock. It was not wide enough or secure.
This next part of my review came after much thought about leaving the house which I thought was left spotless and with great respect. I have stayed in many rentals and have never had a problem. After we left I was called and told two nightstands were damaged. I do not agree with the statement but have no way to prove it. Somewhere between the owner, the cleaning service and myself the truth lies. I find that the pictures provided showed that it was impossible to damage the corner of a table up against the wall without damaging the wall.
The point of sharing this is for other renters and property owners. I have never gone through a house in detail and videoed each piece of furniture in each room. I will now before I start our stay and when we leave. I have always been respectful with others property. The owner was nice about how he approached it but it really bothered me that I could not say if the damage was there before I arrived. Lesson learned and hopefully will help someone else. Even though you are excited to start your vacation, take the time to video each room in the house just in case.

A little piece of Heaven
Perfect place for my family and our good friends to meet and have a nice long weekend. The basement bedrooms, bar area and living room was perfect for our group of kids and the adults had the upstairs. Not super close to grocery store but within 20-30 min so keep that in mind. 2 level dock was super fun for the kids to jump off of. Just be warned that it gets really hot up there so wear your flip flops. Thanks to Bill and Sandy for sharing their beautiful home with us.

Great lake house with easy access to the lake and a well stocked kitchen. It is the perfect size and layout for two families of four. The property is well kept and very clean. The lot has a lot of trees that creates privacy from the neighbors. The property owners are wonderful hosts and very helpful.

The location on the Lake is great, we had convenient access to multiple marinas, tons of coves and clean water for swimming! The house layout worked out really well for our group of friends and family. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and are spaced between upstairs and downstairs to give each family some privacy.

This house is perfect in every way! The view is stunning, their is tons of sleeping space, and the kitchen has everything you need! Unlike most of the other houses on Norris my 90 year old grandma was able to get up and down from the dock several times a day without too much trouble. We did bring walking poles for her to navigate the last little slope which I’d recommend for anyone with aged knees at any house on Norris, but this house was as good as it gets for walking slope at Norris.
The dock was perfect for the speed boat and pontoon. Cleats are available on all sides of the dock. The whole family had fun jumping off the top 100x a day too!
The drive to the house was fairly easy. Follow Bill and Sandy’s directions and make sure to take the first lynch hollow road if you are towing a boat! The boat launch near the house was very convenient and the driveway was plenty big enough to park the boat trailer and all of our cars.
We will be returning to this house! Thank you so much for having us!

Great location and setup for larger group
The location on the Lake is great, we had convenient access to multiple marinas, tons of coves and clean water for swimming! The house layout worked out really well for our group of friends and family. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and are spaced between upstairs and downstairs to give each family some privacy.

Great Stay On Lake Norris
Our family really enjoyed the stay at this property just after Christmas and over New Years. The house had plenty of room for our large family. The view of the lake were great and it was very quiet and peaceful in the evenings. I would definately stay at this property again and recommend to others.

Amazing Home, Fabulous Vaca
This home is amazing, plenty of space, trendy decor, nice bedding and towels, kithcen fully stocked, view and location was perfect, great dock, fire pit, September was a good time as less peeps on the lake, boat ramp close and easy access to water. Lucy was super easy to work with, very responsive to any questions. New favorite house on the lake!!!

Best house for adult trip!
We enjoyed this house so much! The best part was that each bedroom was a master with it’s own full bath. This worked perfectly for the 5 adult couples we had on our trip. The walk to the dock was short and not 1000 stairs like so many other Norris rentals. The 2 story deck was a huge hit, as was the fire pit, pool table, and open concept kitchen/living/dining. We had an unfortunate issue with our jet ski and Lucy was gracious enough to allow us extra time to figure out a plan on checkout day. She was super responsive and helpful! We will absolutely be booking again! Highly recommend!!

Yearly high school friend gathering.
Love love love this house! It was laid out so well with every bedroom having it’s own bathroom. It was clean and the decor was so cute. We have been on vacation to this lake at least 6 times and this house is my favorite. The dock was fun, walk down was not bad, and we had space for two boats and three jet skis and still space to swim.

Wonderful Experience
The house is perfect for a family vacation with the main family room accommodating large family gatherings and the basement level perfect for the kids to enjoy their time. Kitchen was specious, readily equipped, and the property manager readily available and quick to respond. Would highly suggest and rent from again.

We had a great experience staying at this home! We have stayed at several places on the lake and the location can’t be beat! Still close to several marinas but not a high traffic area! Lucy was fantastic to work with and answered all questions prior to arrival!! The home was set up great, was clean and had everything we needed!! The dock was beautiful and the kids loved going up top!! We def enjoyed staying here!

Island View is amazing!
Island View was just as advertised - wonderful spacious home with beautiful furniture, very gentle slope to the lake and a great sunbathing/jumping dock. Lucy was great to work with - she was always quick to respond to any questions from the start.

Perfect for four families
We loved this house! It offered a wonderful community area for eating, playing, watching tv, a kitchen with everything you could ever need and more, a beautiful view of the lake and sunrise from a two spacious decks, and also four private spaces with private baths....all in all, perfect for four families. To top it off, there was the most beautiful and TALL Christmas tree to greet us as we walked in the door! !

Great place for a Lake get-a-way
After hours of research, I was not disappointed with my choice for our Family Weekend Lake Get-a-Way. Great location! Right on the lake, 20 minute drive (only 8 miles) to Springs Dock, where we rented boat, jet skis (G Rides which is right next to Springs Dock) and everything you need for a fun day on the lake. Oh, I forgot to mention the great food Springs Dock has. Once on the lake it was only a 10 min ride back to the house which had it's own dock/boat slip. This was nice so we didn't have to carry everything with us to Spring Dock and we were able to take a break in our day and then go back out. The home was very tastefully decorated and offered plenty of room and entertainment for our family. The manager/owner was very easy to work with during the whole process. Our family is looking forward to going back again.

The house is beautiful and spacious, with new furniture, linens, towels, kitchen-ware etc. Really comfortable beds and an overall enjoyable place to stay.
The view is Amazing and can be seen from every room and both decks. The view is truly incredible.
The public boat ramp is a 1/4 mile away is super convenient, and there is a nice covered dock at the house for easy access to our boat.
Jerry and Lucy are gracious hosts and very easy to work with.
