Nestled in Avon, this charming house for $190 per night is a great option for your next trip. Irene's Dream #30-6 Our calendar is updated in real-time & our nightly rates are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' Everyone’s raving about beautiful, soundside Irene's Dream! Located on a large, quiet corner lot in Kinnakeet Shores, this home is a five-minute walk from a beach access point and the community's pool and tennis courts. You'll also be conveniently close to a Food Lion and nearby restaurants in Avon. The circular drive, which has a basketball goal, accommodates parking for several cars. The first level of the house has a large game room with a wet bar, a full-size pool table, and a media area with a 60-inch 4K Ultra HDTV, surround sound, and an Xbox One. Also on the first level is a main suite with a king-size bed, a private full bathroom, and a 46-inch HDTV. From the game room, head out to the private, 36 x 14, in-ground heated pool with double showers and sundecks. Next to the pool area, which is also accessible by stairs from the upper deck levels, is a stainless gas grill for outdoor entertaining. Four bedrooms are located on the second level, with three of them offering individual access to the second-level deck and hot tub. One of the bedrooms has a king-size bed and a 40-inch HDTV, sharing a bathroom with another bedroom with two twin beds and a 32-inch HDTV. The third bedroom is a queen primary suite with a semi-private full bathroom, which is also accessible from the main hallway. The fourth bedroom on the second level contains two bunk beds, a 40-inch HDTV, and a DVD player. The full-size washer/dryer are also located on the second level. The third level opens into an expansive great room with cathedral ceilings, a half-bath, warm furnishings, a gas fireplace, a game table, and a 55-inch HDTV and DVD player. Also located on this level, within the open-concept design, are a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and a large dining area. The sixth bedroom - a primary suite with a private full bathroom - has access to the third-level deck and a 32-inch HDTV. From the great room, you can access the third-level deck overlooking the pool area as well as a wrap-around sundeck with views of the ocean and sound. From this deck, climb the stairs to the sun tower for beautiful sunrises on the ocean and spectacular sunsets on the sound. With all the comforts and amenities you could want, Paradise awaits - you will not want to leave! Things to Know New upgrades for 2024 include new pool decking, railings, and stairs. The fireplace is available October through April. The private pool is open seasonally from April through mid-October. Dates are subject to change. Guests have access to Kinnakeet Shores Pool & Tennis. You will receive an amenity pass during check-in to utilize the shared facility. You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking, which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement. This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The first floor has a nice size "game room" with a pool table, own little mini kitchen. Second floor is bedrooms, there is only 2 bathrooms to share amongst the 4 bedrooms though which makes it a little difficult with a full house. Third floor is the kitchen/living room with a bedroom and bathroom as well. Hot tub and pool are a great size and were very nice and clean.

Irene's Dream is a great home in a great location. The home was exactly as described. Our group enjoyed the multiple floors. The kids were downstairs playing pool and video games on rainy days while the adults were upstairs enjoying each others company. You could not hear the kids downstairs and they could not hear us. The house has multiple areas to escape to. The pool was great as well as the hot tub. The pool was very private with the surrounding vegetation. We did not use either very much due to the rainy weather. The location was excellent with shops and grocery nearby. I would certainly stay here again.

Property was not cleaned prior to check in socks outside trash piled up couldn’t even use the trash cans. Counters not cleaned freeze buildup on the microwave bedrooms a mess. Found a used pad under a bed trash behind the couch. Never again. I reached out countless times to management never made anything right

Irene’s Dream is well laid out and very comfortable for a large group of adults and kids. Well stocked kitchen, family room has extra fridge and dishwasher and pool table. House was clean and an easy short walk to beach.

The house was great for our family. We had family from out of the country and wanted to give them the American beach week experience. The walk to the beach was easy and straightforward. The pool size was great for our large group.

This house is very well equipped with everything you will need! Kitchen was great! Bedroom and bathrooms were very spacious and comfortable! Plenty of room for 14 people to spread out!
Only complaint or inconvenience was it was very chilly while we were on vacation this past week and we paid for pool heat and it never worked. We called everyday for 5 days straight and no one ever came out to fix. Hot tub also needed some maintenance and chemicals, water was very cloudy.

This house is very well equipped with everything you will need! Kitchen was great! Bedroom and bathrooms were very spacious and comfortable! Plenty of room for 14 people to spread out!

I don’t know where to begin. The hot tub was filthy and there was trash around the pool when we arrived (we had the kids pick it up). The grill was horribly gross (mold, etc.) We called right away and left a message (of course check-in is at 5pm after they are closed), texted, and filled out a maintenance form. Ants in the kitchen, and a cockroach crawled across my face as I was falling asleep!!!! The dryer takes three FULL one hour cycles to dry an average load of clothes.
As I said, we contacted someone right away on Saturday at check-in. Sunday at 2:40pm, we receive a voicemail saying maintenance was being notified (not when or who would be coming)....
On Monday, after the cockroach incident, I lose my cool and show up to the realty building in-person (at this point we are jokingly calling it ‘Irene’s Nightmare’). I’m promised that someone is coming to clean the hot tub and grill and pest control. No one shows up all day.
Tuesday, as we are all in our cars literally pulling out of the driveway, a man pulls up and wants to talk about the hot tub. We miss our ferry time.
So it’s Tuesday late afternoon when we can finally use the grill and hot tub (we got there Saturday). Dryer never really worked well. Lots of cockroaches on the decks outside seen throughout the week. First floor smells musty all the time; carpet needs replacing. No DVD for main living room.
We are supposed to be getting some sort of reimbursement for our troubles.
I would use Hatteras Realty again based on the fact that they did eventually send someone out and the fact that I am supposed to be reimbursed, however, I would never stay at “Irene’s Dream” ever again unless major improvements are made.
