Everything went well except the TV is not working and I don't care because I'm tired and have no more strength to watch it. AC is above excellent.

You get what you pay for

The staff were friendly and the price was right. However you get what you pay for....

The room was dirty, I had to clean the room before we unpacked. As we were moving in to our room, we were approached by a teenager trying to sell us marijuana. Our neighbors were loud, fighting ans breaking bottles all ours of the night outside our room. The AC unit did not cool the room despite being on the highest setting and the toilet was leaking from the floor, causing a urine odor.

Location, location, location

Loved the location. This motel is a hidden gem and is 150 yards from the beach, walkable to the Avon Pier, coffee shops, souvenir shops, and eateries! I was skeptical because it was a good price, but this motel was very clean and quaint. We will definitely return here!

NASTY! ROACHES IN ROOM

Upon arrival our keys were taped to the door of the office. we got in and noticed it was very dated and overall not clean. then when carrying our bags on we noticed a COCKROACH! we notified the property and they stated they knew! we left immediately

If your looking for a 5 star hotel this ain't it it's a small motel clean, bug free, comfortable,

Very quiet, bed comfortable, very clean, no bugs

Walk to beach is very short but very dark needs lighted path or lights outside

Loved the cute hotel, and room, very clean Beach Access close by Nice Restaurants Pleasant Staff Bonus- you get a bag of ice per day!

The hotel really needs curtains to block out the lights right outside the rooms at night, it's just like having the room light on. A huge plus would be a small table and a few chairs so you can sit and eat in the hotel. Beds were ok, we stayed a week. My back did feel it at the end.

Shortened stay

Location is central to the town of Avon and its many restaurants and the Food Lion. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach.

There was a swarm of flies in my room. When I told the front desk about it the next morning, I was told that it was not unusual and should be expected for this time of the year; the proximity to the beach and air conditioning in the room was what attracted the flies to come in. I was given a fly swatter and told that they'd spray during the day. That night, there were only 3 flies in the room and I checked out the following morning (I had reserved a 5-night stay).

I would return again.

Location is right on the beach and it’s easy to get to Buxton or north if you wish. Late night bar directly across the street with plenty of food options. There is a fridge and microwave in room and property gives a bag of ice per day.

It was minimal furniture and a little run down but I found it clean and acceptable for a nice stay.

Somewhat outdated and maybe could have been cleaned alittle more especially the shower but over all was ok and didn't go to the beach for the room

The location is excellent. We stayed there the night before our rental was ready. The staff is very friendly.

The air conditioner isn’t enough to do cool the double room. There should at least be a ceiling fan in the bedroom to circulate the air.the room was a bit moldy smelling but I’m sure that’s because of the location.

Good place to stay on a tighter budget.

It's been modernized somewhat since I was last there many years ago. Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff. Free bag of ice everyday.

No closet/place to hang up any clothes. Our particular room (#25) had several spots on the floor where it felt like you were going to fall through, which was annoying (you couldn't tell by looking at the floor) - mainly in front of the dresser and microwave/fridge area.

I only stayed 1 night with a friend. it was a nice walk to the beach and the room was nice.

It was nice, clean and comfortable.

We were happy that we booked it for one night only.

The beach is just 3 minutes walk from the motel. The place has a parking lot.

Staff was disappointing, they literally just asked for my name and told me the price. Our key didn't open the door and the replacement key hardly worked, too. Although they probably cleaned the room, it didn't feel clean. The AC is noisy, so we decided to turn it off eventually. Our impression was that someone inherited this business and they want to make as much money as possible with the least investment.
