Situated in East Ridge, this attractive house for $164 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. "Makin' Memories" Bungalow (1340 sq ft) was originally built in 1919 and was an original Mill House, also known as a Shotgun House. I has had numerous add-ons over the last 110 years. The house has been totally gutted and remodeled with new electric, plumbing, and all of that good stuff! The Battle of Missionary Ridge was fought on this property, located on a 2 block street. I have found bullets, cannon balls, and shot when digging in the flower beds. I even discovered an old tractor petal when it was a farm and cow pastures years ago. My insurance will not cover pit bulls, chows, or dobermans, or any mixed breeds that have these three. I live across the street and behind my house the gardens are located. It is an old 3 tiered lot with 2 ponds. One pond has goldfish and a Mermaid fountain. Sit and relax and enjoy the birds, views of Downtown and listen to the splash of the water taking your stress far, far away. The sunsets are wonderful as the sun disappears behind Lookout Mountain. It is convenient to the downtown area and all the hospitals. There is a FULLY FENCED IN back yard for your dogs. I am not able to offer military discounts. 2 miles to the Chattanooga Choo Choo. I own most of the neighborhood and still working on it. One lot at a time. It is in transition, but we all know each other. The city of Chattanooga is experiencing rapid redevelopment, economic growth, and what some call "gentrification". This means that if you stay in the city, you are likely to be on a street with a wide variety of properties, ranging from very good condition, to fair, to vacant. In addition, there is great racial, cultural, and economic diversity with city residents. I live across the street and love it here, but it may not be for everyone. I want all guests to consider this prior to booking, so no unfavorable review result. Please do not ask for a late check out. I respect that my cleaners have lives other than just cleaning my rentals. Feel free to stay another day. Thank you!

Tammy was very responsive and addressed all our need in a timely manner. The place was beautifully decorated and centrally located. I would recommend this place to our friends and would stay here again the next time we visit Chattanooga.

We have been staying wiith Tammy for many years and have been in most if not all of her homes and yes her houses are homes! Clean, comfortable and always decorated teastefully. Living close by she is always there if you need her. We will be back.

Tammy and the house are wonderful. Tammy came over to welcome us and spent a lot of time with the kids. House has a Great layout for the family. Loved all the kids toys and games to play during the rain. Will stay here again on future trips.

Stayed here on a short getaway with friends. We had a great time and enjoyed the house very much. Everything is just as listed and the home is immaculate. Perfect layout for couples traveling together. Very roomy and plenty of privacy. Tammy stopped by to meet us and she is a delight.

Quick little getaway to Chattanooga for the weekend. Tammy was amazing. Love the house, super cozy and clean. Had everything we needed and there was toys for our boys 6 and 9 to play with. Would definitely recommend it!

The property was extremely clean and well-decorated. My 4 year old loved the toys and the play place across the street. The location was great and allowed us to get out of the touristy downtown area. We loved this property!

This property was lovely! Cozy cottage feel with comfortable furniture in the living room. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well supplied. The owner was quick to reply when an issue happened. We especially loved the porch in back! Would definitely go back here to stay!!!

The house is amazing! So wonderful decorated and it has everything you need for your stay. Tammy is a terrific host and we loved getting to walk through her gardens. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Tammy was a wonderful host and house was wonderful. Clean and neat and well appointed with everything one would need for a stay including a fully equipped kitchen. The back porch with a swing was a very nice place to enjoy wine and cheese. The only issue was the traffic noise, when outside, from the hidden highway up the hill. Don’t let that be a reason for not booking.

The property is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood with close proximity to major roads for easy travel to the surrounding areas. The property was very cozy and had everything you could need for a short vacation in Chattanooga. Highly recommend this house and I would stay here again if I travel to Chattanooga in the future. Additionally, the pricing was very affordable.

Perfectly decorated. EXTREMELY CLEAN!!! Tammy took care of every detail from having all the extras around to making sure you were truly comfortable. She was there immediately if I had a question about local fun spots and had a binder full of information that I found after my questions!! But seriously, I wish every VRBO owner had the passion she has for her business. She has several cute homes on the street and the cutest gardens across the street and a beautiful sunset view. I would recommend Tammy and her homes 100%. Almost the whole street is being remodeled. This area is turning hands and building up and people are seeing the growth and investing.

Our family loved our stay at this cute home! So convenient to all the family activities we did around Lookout Mountain and Downtown. My kids all want to come back for another stay to do more around Chattanooga. We would definitely stay here again. Tammy was a great host and was gracious to allow us to move our rental date when my whole family was sick during our original stay date. I give the whole stay an A+! Hope to go back sometime soon!

What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. Great house, clean and tidy. The property was well maintained. 15-20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga and other main attractions. I would stat here again.

The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. It was comfortable and well stocked with utensils, toys, towels, etc. We met the owner, and she is so sweet. She gave us a tour of her gardens and goldfish ponds. The kids had a great time on the playground. The private back yard and deck were great! We had fun and had time to relax as well. The home is close to downtown attractions and restaurants. I highly recommend this owner and house!

What an adorable house! Our family of 5 had plenty of space. We spent our mornings on the back patio and evenings watching sports together in the living room. Tammy thought of everything to make us feel at home. Highly recommended!

Home was nicely decorated and clean, and included lots of amenities! My three year old grand daughter loved the toy selection and the fenced in backyard was perfect for our two pups!

This was a wonderful long weekend stay in Chattanooga. Met up with kids and grandkids, 2 dogs included. The house was adorable! So clean and decorated so nicely! The back porch was so nice to sit and watch the dogs play in the fenced in backyard. Thanks for a wonderful place to meet in the middle of KY and GA to have some fun with grandkids!

We absolutely loved our vacation at this wonderful home. Tammy is the owner and she was there to welcome us, answer any questions we had and help in anyway possible. The house is as listed and has every dish, pan, blanket everything you could possibly need or want. There is a large backyard with a beautiful porch that we spent so much time on. There is also a charcoal grill out there that we used a bunch. We saw many birds, squirrels and chipmunks in the backyard. Such a great place to relax after a day of exploring the area. I can't recommend this home enough, we can't wait to come back! Thank you Tammy!!!

We are a family of 4 (63, 52, 26, 23) from London England on a road trip through the southern states. Truly amazing place to stay. The host was really helpful and speedy at responses. Great quite location in a safe neighbourhood. Close to all amenities, car is not essential but recommended. Very clean throughout, newly redecorated and a perfect stock of all items and essentials. Overall 10/10. Would definitely stay again.

I can’t say enough good things about Tammy and this house. It is exactly as shown and described (better in fact). The backyard was perfect to sit out and for our dog to run around in. Tammy was so friendly and gracious. The house may be my favorite VRBO house. It doesn’t feel like it was decorated for renters. It feels really homey without being kitschy. Layout is perfect with large kitchen and two large bedrooms. We loved the location since we could be downtown in 10-15 minutes, 5 min drive to fantastic restaurants as well as easy driving to other locations. Highly recommend and would stay here again next time we come through Chattanooga.

Easy dealing with Tammy. Property was as described. My only complaint is the turn in to the road if coming down the mountain. It's a 90 degree turn that my vehicle just was too big for. I was able to back up and get down the road but it was a struggle.
