Nestled in Faubourg Marigny, this lovely house for $463 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Permit # 20-RSTR-27715 Operator # 20-OSTR-27713 and 21-OSTR-13106 ***Each guest reservation is required to sign a pool waiver*** ***$45 fee should you want to drop luggage off before check in or need to leave it after check out*** Exposed brick, high ceilings, pocket doors and shotgun style rooms offer a tranquil setting taking you to another time of 100+ yr old Maison de la Piscine. The sparkling pool brings relaxation after a day of music & beignets (not heated); explore the greenery and help yourself to the fresh herb garden! Frenchmen St is only 5 blks away and there's several walkable bar/restaurant options within 1-3blks. While every occasion needs food, inquire about BOOKING A CULINARY EXPERIENCE with Chef Tiger! The property has original flooring that allows sound to travel to the owners unit. For this reason, our home unfortunately is not suited for little ones who enjoy running and jumping. Our sophisticated home will comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests and all necessities needed for a comfortable, memorable experience are provided. There is ample free, first come first serve street parking The property is a traditional shotgun style home but also offers privacy as each bedroom has a door. Keep in mind, to access the third bedroom with 2 twin beds you will need to walk through the second bedroom (king bed). The main bedroom (queen bed) is completely private with an en-suite. There are also multiple entry/exit options for the home. The second bathroom is located off the common area, in the hallway The property is a duplex which means the main wall is shared with the home next-door (like a townhome). The homeowners live next-door and you will often find them tending to the garden or maintaining the property grounds. They are happy to give you privacy or engage in conversation, whichever you prefer! Occasionally there may be small, intimate culinary experiences being hosted in the backyard that you are welcome to observe! More than just a place to rest your head our pristine shotgun style home is owned by a personal Chef who specializes in Creole cuisine! Please inquire about scheduling a private catering or cooking class for you and your family/group and allow us to create lasting memories with you and for you! While Southern fare is our specialty, we can prepare any cuisine of your liking. We also offer concierge services to ease the burden of grocery/necessity shopping so you can focus on having the best time enjoying our wonderful city! The pool is nothing short of marvelous for cooling down from the NOLA heat or taking a romantic sunset dip. The pool is not heated for winter months but you are still welcome to take a cold plunge! Our secured property grounds offer lovely green space to explore and enjoy. Friendly neighborhood cats may come to you for a gentle pet! The Franklin Restaurant, Pepps Pub, Flora Gallery & Coffee Shop, The Orange Couch, Marigny Opera House, JAMNOLA, Bywater Brew Pub are all within 1-4 blocks walking distance. Explore hip Frenchmen St which is only 5 blocks away; checkout The Spotted Cat or Maison! The French Market is an easy 15 minute walk (about 9 blocks) or an Uber/Lyft can have you there in less than 5 minutes. Uber/Lyft can also have you to Bourbon in about 8 minutes. The Riverfront Streetcar line is next to the French Market (9 blocks away) Occasionally the homeowners may need to access the laundry room, but no worries, they will always check with you first! And if you prefer them not to access the laundry room during your stay that's completely fine! Also, guests are able to lock the laundry room door to prevent access to the rest of the property. It will make sense once you arrive we promise!! :) There is always some sort of maintenance needing to be done to uphold the quality and integrity of the property. We will never hinder your experience of the pool or back deck, but know that there may be days where we are working in the yard more than others with our handyman. Of course if there is a huge project that needs to be done we will schedule this for a time when we do not have guests. Please no running or jumping in the home as there are many breakables and while the home has been renovated there are still original features such as the floors that allow sound travel with running and jumping. There is a train 4 blocks away. We understand not all are accustomed to trains in such close vicinity therefore, we provide earplugs for light sleepers. There are friendly neighborhood cats who enjoy exploring our property from time to time and you may find one or two relaxing on the back deck.

First time to NOLA. we loved the neighborhood with all the quaint shops on almost every corner. we did have a rental and it was very easy to get to the french quarter and park.

This home is incredibly warm and inviting. The minute we walked through the door we were instantly immersed in the NOLA culture. The time, effort and love that Tiger and Olga put into this home is so apparent. The neighborhood was so welcoming, and in walking distance to the French Quarter and Frenchmen’s Street. Great little coffee shops to grab a cup of coffee during a morning stroll.
My goodness, you will NEVER meet more amazing people then Tiger and Olga. They welcomed us with open arms and treated us as family. They took such great care of us. They hold great pride in their hospitality, and it shows in every corner of this home. Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, easy access to laundry and SO clean!! Olga has done an amazing job with decorating and styling.
The outdoor living space was exactly what everyone needs and deserves when they go on vacation. Tiger takes amazing care of the pool; it was so clean. There were lots of little places to sit, and each was surrounded with beautiful landscaping.
We had Chef Tiger cook us two dinners. He served us up with a seafood boil feast, fit for a queen!! And I was the queen for the night. Tiger and Olga gathered all my family around and surprised me with the most amazing Chantilly cake baked by Tiger and they all sang happy birthday to me. It was truly the best birthday I’ve ever had. Our 2nd meal was just as amazing.

We had such a wonderful stay! The neighborhood was great, with plenty to do but far enough away from the crowded spots. Felt a little like being a local. Everyone about the house was as advertised - it was tremendously clean and very comfortable. Will definitely stay again next time in town!

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is even nicer in person. Everything you need for a NOLA getaway. The best restaurants and coffee shop are a short walk away. Easy walk or Uber to the French quarter. The pool was refreshing and the owners were attentive and we enjoyed their company as well. Would definitely stay here again!

A couple of friends and I spent five days in NOLA and were fortunate to stay in this gem of a home. The furnishings were tasteful, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well appointed, pool was lovely, communication was perfect, etc.
What made it better was the location. The neighborhood was so welcoming to us. We were on foot and walked all over NOLA but really enjoyed our experience right in the Marigny neighborhood. Whether it was the bar on the corner, restaurant on the other corner, coffee shops, sunset in Crescent Park or just chatting with the neighbors, it was delightful. One of our group is vegan and she found Marigny to be amazing on that front. HIghly recommend this location!

Enjoyed our stay in NOLA and this property. Was perfect for the 6 of us. Tiger greeted us when we got in and had a nice chat. Would’ve loved to take advantage of the chef opportunities but ran out of time. Location is perfect for Frenchman st, 5 mins. about a 20 min walk to bourbon st.

Brought my daughters to NOLA for a graduation trip. Upon walking into the home, we pleasantly surprised how much better the home was in compared to the pics online.
The home provides a coziness that I have not found elsewhere.

This is by far our best vacation rental experience! The home is perfection, even more beautiful than the pictures. Everything you need is there for you, and it’s so so CLEAN!!! Beds are comfortable, with plenty of luxurious sheets and blankets. Christina communicated with me for check-in and she is so sweet, and fantastic at her job. The pool and deck are immaculate and perfect for relaxing after long days of exploring the city. Great location! So close to the French Market and the Quarter. Also a great coffee shop and some bars and restaurants within walking distance. Neighborhood was quiet all the time. Plenty of street parking too. The meal cooked by Chef Tiger was the best seafood boil we have ever had. Highly recommend!!!!

We had a wonderful experience! The house is excellent and by far one of the cleanest properties I’ve visited. The pool was great for an afternoon of relaxation. The on-site owner Tiger was fabulous! He picked up groceries and wine for us and prepared a lovely poolside brunch. We will definitely return!

Best place to stay in NOLA
The property is beautiful and exactly as pictured. Tiger and Olga are wonderful hosts and seem to have nailed the balance between being warm and hospitable while also leaving you your privacy to do your own thing.
But the absolute best thing about this property is its location! Frenchmen Street is in easy walking distance even for my bad knee. If you want to get out and explore, there is a Blue Bike station just steps from this property. The French Quarter is a less than 5 minute bike ride away. Same for one of the trolley stops which then could get us to the Garden District or City Park.
Without a doubt, we'll be staying here again when we return to NOLA.

I would highly recommend this place. Olga and Tiger were very welcoming. The location is great (for Frenchmen Street) and much of New Orleans. The pool and back patio really added to the experience - especially if it is going to be hot. There happened to be a block party next door on Sunday which we were invited to. That really added to the whole experience.
