Located in St Germain, this attractive lodge for $647 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. 13 bedroom lakeside lodge with outdoor bar (featured on national tv show "Epic Bar Builds Episode 2"). 2 full kitchens and 7 full bathrooms. This lakeside lodge has an amazing beach facing west over Big St Germain lake for stunning sunsets. Centrally located between Minocqua and Eagle River the location can not be beat. The Musky Inn is 8,000 sq ft. lots of amenities within. Theater room with a projector and 10' screen. Spectrum business class internet, huge great rooms, ping pong table, foosball. 3 large decks, 1 in front and 2 lakeside that sit either side of stunning outdoor bar which is covered by new log truss system, 2 firepits. the views cannot be beat anywhere in Northwoods. This unit has actually been listed for many years now and has 5 star reviews. We just recently decided to add another listing of the entire Musky Inn.

Very cool! Had a great family gathering. The history of this Lodge is amazing! The lodge was very comfortable and basically clean, though some of the housekeeping could be a tad more thorough. (1 window had many dead bugs that should have been vacuumed up and we rewashed some of the dishes before use) Jim, owner, was there briefly and was very friendly and gracious. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.

The space was great for 25 guests. Plenty of beds and bathrooms, indoor and outdoor space. Loved having both ends of the lodge. Lots of refrigerators and enjoyed the outdoor bar and view.

Comfortable place for family gathering

A wonderful casual place for a large family group. The setting right on the lake with boat, dock, beach and player was perfect for our large family gathering. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating options for any time of day. We cooked indoors and outdoors while enjoying sun rises and sunsets. Owner was always available for any issue. Would go there again.

Amazing time! A lot of space and rooms for a lot of people. Walls are paper thin though. Amazing backyard. Water is not to deep, great for a dip. We had an amazing time

Our stay at Musky Inn was pleasant, however it was also less than stated. Specifically Internet and Wireless internet were listed as "amenities" and furthermore "essentials" on the VRBO listing, and then on the day of arrival an e-mail is sent stating internet may be intermittent. Internet was a key item that led to us choosing this property, and then to be told it would be intermittent was less than ideal. In addition to this "Television" and "Smart TV" were listed as "amenities'', however without internet these items were not functional. Intermittent internet would have been a hinderance, but not a major issue, however having no internet was a serious problem. Then when the ISP was contacted we were told the account was not paid up to have service, this was blatantly unacceptable. This reservation was made with significant advance and this issue should have been handled long prior to our arrival, not the day prior to our departure. Another issue we have is that "linens" were listed as an amenity, however again in the day of arrival notification we were told "kitchen or bath towels" are not provided. This was a significant issue as many of the guests were already in route to the property and the ability to pack towels was nonexistent. VRBO has the ability to list things that are and are not available, this should have been part of the listing. To provide a list of "What we don't provide", limitations on "what we provide", and "Most but not all" list of inclusions is an terrible practice, but to provide it on the day of arrival is blatantly unacceptable. Finally communication was below average. We had acceptable communication on check-in, but upon notification of an issue on day two communication became less than customer serving. We accept that communication on Thanksgiving day would be delayed, however to receive no reply was unacceptable. Ultimately the property was not up to the standards that we have come to expect from a VRBO property charging over $1,500 per night. Unfortunately we will be only giving the property two of a possible five stars, and will not be looking to stay at Musky Inn or Anchor rentals on subsequent return visits to the area.

It was large enough to accommodate all of our needs. Foosball table had a broken goalie and Ping Pong paddles were in really rough shape. I bought my own set and left them there for others to enjoy. No pool table as initially described in pictures.
