This house feels more like a home than a short term rental. The well stocked kitchen made meal prep easy. There was a large selection of sunscreens, insect repellants and various toiletries. A great feature is the Ecoflow backup power units in all 3 rooms. We lost power a couple times during thunderstorms but still had power to the starkink internet and were able to charge devises and plug in lamps. We had a little trouble finding the trash drop off site because the building is not visible from the road. Dan, our local contact, was helpful and a pleasure.

Ed’s property is gorgeous! The patio area and ocean view are one of the best on the island. It’s perfectly located to nearby restaurants, beaches, and grocery stores. Dan made check-in smooth and was so sweet! Thank you so much! We will be back again soon!

The home was wonderful. The greeting from Dan was excellent. He knows a lot about the island! The home has pretty much everything you could ask for. The views of the Atlantic are fabulous!One thing, you NEED a rental car here. You are 30 minutes away from Governor’s Harbor, and you can’t walk to much from the home. We rented, and had no problems.It’s a great place to stay and I would recommend this place for anyone who needs 2 bedrooms.

We get to Eleuthera with regularity and stay at a different home each time. We enjoy trying out new locations, and I must say this house did not disappoint. Rainbow Bay is a great neighborhood located just north of Governors Harbour. From here you can get to the ferry easily to visit Spanish Wells or Harbour Island. Gregory Town and GHB have great restaurants from which to choose. And closer to home the Rainbow Bay Inn is a great place for a sunset drink. Casa Libre is perfectly appointed with all you need, and the views of the ocean from the porch are just amazing. One of my favorite beaches is right in Rainbow Bay on the ‘sea’ side. It’s great for sunbathing, snorkeling and no one is ever there. It’s not even 5 min from the house by car. This location is great for adult trips or small families. Thanks to Ed and Soledad for being so responsive and helpful, and to Dan for greeting us with an introduction to the home and area. We appreciated the tip to check out Spanish Wells. Was a fun day! Don’t hesitate to rent here. Wish I could go for a month and just chill!
