About this apartment rental
Welcome to 'The Little Whale', a cosy self contained unit behind our main house, conveniently located in the 'Beachside' area of beautiful Kiama. It is suitable for up to 2 adults & 2 children or 3 adults.
The unit has its own private entrance, a Queen bedroom with walk in wardrobe, a bathroom with shower plus a generous living area with a sofa bed, table & chairs and a TV. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, convection microwave/oven, induction hot plate, kettle & toaster. Great WiFi, linens, towels and cleaning included.
Best of all guests have the use of our beautiful infinity pool (heated from October to April)!
Although we live on the property and will be easily contactable during your stay, you will have privacy in the comfort of your separate residence.
KIAMA:
Only 90 minutes from Sydney, 1 hour from Moss Vale and less than 3 hrs from Canberra, Kiama is the jewel of the NSW South Coast, boasting not only spectacular scenery and beaches but also a lively little town centre with many shops, cafes and restaurants. There are frequent festivals and markets adding to the holiday atmosphere. The town centre is a five minute drive from the house or a leisurely 30 minute walk along the coast.
If you feel like staying close to home, we have both a bar restaurant and a cafe on our block providing great food and drinks, live music and fantastic atmosphere.
From our house you can walk to many beaches (the closest is 3 minutes away) as well as take the well known Coastal Walk to Gerringong or in the other direction to Minnamurra. We are also ten minutes from Jamberoo with its Jamberoo Action Park and the Minnamurra Rainforest. This area is a beautiful place for cycling or just going for a drive.
Of course Kiama is famous for its Blowhole which is spectacular when it goes off but the lesser known Little Blowhole is a minute from our house and can be just as impressive. Minnamurra river is fantastic for paddle boarding and kayaking and of course our beaches are pristine.
Further afield are the quaint and vibrant towns of Gerringong (10 mins) and Berry (15 mins) with lots to see and do. Jervis Bay with its famously white sandy beaches as well as Kangaroo Valley are both only an hour away and great for a day trip.
You will not be at a loss for things to do if that is what you want. If relaxation is the goal you need look no further than The Little Whale.

Easy access, clean and friendly owners - this was a lovely little stay for our family of 4. We didn't get to enjoy the spa or pool, but it looked very inviting! Great touches to cleaning and provisions made us feel welcome. Thanks

We had a great stay, Fiona is a lovely host and we had everything we needed. We definitely hope to return so we can make use of the gorgeous pool and spa. Kiama and the surrounding areas and towns are really worth a visit.

We were absolutely thrilled with the place, for my wife and our 1,5 year old boy it was perfect. Swim in the beautiful infinity pool in the morning, brekkie at the Little Earth Cafe, a walk to to watch the Little Blowhole and/or to Easts beach these are all the things that were within minutes and they quickly became our much loved holiday routine. Will be back sometime for sure.
