Other then sharing a hostel bunk room about the only place I know in Auckland CBD where you can have own room with bathroom down the hall for about $70 NZ. Handy to Britomart & also Te Huia transport. Room had a desk & bit cell like but not complaining for the price. Adequate bathrooms so all good. Note remote access by lock box.
Somewhat confusing instructions for lockbox but worked out okay. No real staff on site at unusual hours so bear that in mind, this is not a hotel

the room with windows was excellent: spacious, comfortable, and equipped with a heater, hairdryer, mirror, and a small fridge. The pillows and the bed were really comfortable
The kitchen was also large and always seemed clean. The staff were constantly cleaning and maintaining the common areas.
Nice location!
My main complaint is about the bathrooms. The sink was placed too close to the toilet and it is too short, which felt quite unhygienic and uncomfortable to use. Also, the toilets and showers were separated into different rooms along the hallway rather than being part of one bathroom area. Having to move between separate unisex shower and toilet rooms was especially inconvenient as a woman.

Room had everything you needed, comfy bed, a fan a heater, fridge, towels, linen.
Shared toilets, a strange person who would knock on the wall when you dryed your hands with the hand dryer was quite weird, actually ridiculous, the facilities are communal so probably dont stay here if you cant handle a hand dryer being used day or night.
