Room slightly smaller than in the images, had everything you needed, we spent 7 days there & location wise was perfect. My only suggestion would be to anyone bringing a rental car don’t, there in no parking close by, I was told by the owner there was free street parking spaces nearby, this wasn’t the case, we had to use a car park which cost £18 per day for overnight parking & even that was full at times, I would have liked to have known this prior to booking. Other than that, great rustic studio apartment in the perfect location.

In the heart of the old city and in my opinion it was the perfect location to stay at. Close to everything and super convenient. The apartment was clean and comfortable and we didn't regret choosing it for our week-long stay. Pros - Location is absolutely perfect, walking traffic only below - Close to the sea all kinds of dining, shopping, and groceries - The apartment was clean, modern with old world stone walls - Great view of the square below with restaurants below - Easy walking distance to everything in and around Diocletian’s Palace - Comfortable ultra firm memory foam bed slept like a baby - Washer, dryer with soap in the apartment along with kitchen appliances Cons - The shower takes some time to get use to it so you don’t get water on the floor or run out of hot water - You have 4 flights, 58 stairs to climb if you stay on the top floor, minus 13 for the bottom apartment, good for us, but could be difficult with large luggage and people with health concerns - A little crowd noise below late at night as there is a bar close by, closing the windows fixes it - Small closet which doesn't allow you to hang clothes to easily, but it works - You will be so relaxed you sleep too much and miss your vacation...;-) I would definitely stay here again, host's were awesome!!

Travel light because you will need to carry everything 4 flights. The studio accommodates 3 for sleeping, but our adult son did not find the loft comfortable (too warm). The apartment is newly remodeled, very clean and inviting.

We loved this place for our honeymoon. Great access to the city and the Riva. It was during the World Cup so it was a bit noisy outside but I think you should expect there to be a nightlife in the center of Split during the summer. Everything was very clean and we were thrilled with our experience. Only one note to long term travelers; there are narrow stairs that need to be used. If you have a lot of baggage or large bags, you will need to take a few trips. We were staying in Croatia for 2 weeks so we had a fair amount of stuff.

Apartment is small (one room) but what else do you need ? we had fresh sweet strawberries from the food market every day for breakfast, coffee downstairs in one of the many cafes and great fish / seafood for lunch and dinner. Both Jordana and Gorana were very helpful and quickly responded to any questions or requests we had. Highly recommend you stay here when visiting Split, we definitely will be back

Lights over the bed would have been nice to have for reading at night. Chairs were quite hard and needed cushions if sitting for any length of time. Shower was not quite large enough and shower handle hook did not work. Must say though when we encountered problems they were handled immediately. I would suggest that garbage disposal be listed as what to do. We put it in small cans along walkway.

This rental was in a perfect location in Split, everything was within walking distance. We loved the area and history that came along with it. The only problem was the shower. There was glass added to one side, but water still leaks out the front curtain. The shower is so tight that you have to hold the detachable shower head to wash/rinse yourself. (for us, not important enough to downgrade the star rating). We didn't think the location was loud and we never heard the restaurants nearby unless the windows were open. The air conditioner worked very well. We used the washer more than we thought and it helped cut back on laundry. Overall, great property I would highly recommend in a great town!

We highly recommend this apartment in the centre of Old Town Split overlooking the plaza. We loved the vaulted ceilings and authentic decor. The owner was very patient as we tried to find a parking spot where we wouldn't get towed (nearly impossible). Take a taxi or Uber! We really appreciated the air conditioners as the weather was very hot during our stay. Our only complaint was that the mattress was hard and uncomfortable and the shower head wouldn't stay in place. Other than that, we highly recommend it! Just a note to mention that climbing four flights of stairs can be a bit of a challenge after enjoying the amazing Croatian wine!!

I believe everyone got to have ear plugs. Very noisy during the prime time of the year. Not for someone with a lot of baggage due to long steps up. Lovely location of Split!

What a lovely apartment in the heart of Split! We could not have asked to stay in a better place. It was spacious, charming, and exceptionally clean. We loved opening the windows overlooking the lively square below. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made slow mornings with coffee so nice. It was a little noisy at night because of the location, but it didn't bother us much. We loved having a washer/dryer in the apartment. I highly recommend staying at Splato 2. It made our stay in Split so wonderful!

We loved our stay. Unfortunately the ladder to the loft were broken and we had to work around them. I would on hesatate to stay again. Would recommend to others.

We loved the apartment! It was right in the centre of the old town which was what we wanted. It is on the 4th floor so a few flights of stairs to get up, which was no problem for us. Directions to the apartment were clear and check in was very easy. We loved our stay and will book again if we are to return to Split in the future.

This apartment seemed to be the best in town! Truly! Beautiful layout, warm feeling with mix of stone and wood and bright!! The windows open on to the huge main square and one looks out down a gorgeous stone road (all roads are stone in Split - and no cars anywhere!) for about 100 meters. Everything you need and want is nearby (literally a few feet away) you have many restaurants, a fantastic grocery store, bank machine, other stores, etc. Of course you can walk the whole town in a few minutes but, nonetheless, it's nicet to have things at your doorstep. Basically this is an easy and beautiful place to stay. I was alone but perfect for two. The loft bed above is cool but, other than for maybe a small child, occupying that space would make the environment cramped. Anyway, rent this place! Thank you Gorana for all your help. Oh yes, the service and communication was perfect. There you go....

Great location! Lovely host! Absolutely would stay again!

We had a wonderful time at this stone wall place. We were very happy with the location and very happy with the AC and washer and dryer. The shower needs a door or a curtain and it also needs the head of the shower to be hung. And the washer and dryer door seemed to get stuck lots when you wanted to open it. Other than that it was a wonderfully stay and we will defiantly come back.
