This is part of a yacht club development with its own pier at Golfito, a town which was established industrially (and still has some industrial ships) is in a stunning location, with simple access to the finest jungle/beach coastline I have ever seen further north on the Golfo Dulce/Pietras Blancas. The hotel is very clean and modern, with facilities such as a pool table/party room and jacuzzi. The restaurant serves good food and the service was fine for us. We saw turtles and needlefish from the restaurant, which was cool.
My only critique is that the excursion options were too high end for the hotel. We asked for an offer of a night tour which was 4x the price of anything else we were quoted elsewhere in CR including a very high quality experience at Drake Bay. We did a family boat trip excursion nearby, but not organised through the hotel (we used RioLeon, who were excellent).

Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll gestaltet, die Lage am Hafen mit tollem Ausblick
Hier ist mehr „Schein“ als „Sein“ es gibt erhebliches Potential nach oben. Man hatte uns das schlechteste Zimmer direkt neben dem Aufzug geben wollen, wo die Aufzugsgeräusche zu hören waren. Wir hatten unsere Ankunftszeit frühzeitig angegeben und mussten dann doch noch fast 1 Std.warten. Nachdem wir das Zimmer nicht genommen haben beim Aufzug, erneutes Warten von ca.1,5 Std. Nur eine Reinigungskraft, die gut 45 Min in einem Zimmer verbringt zur Reinigung. Trotzdem liegen dann noch Haare der Vorbewohner im Bad, es fehlten kleiner Handtücher. Der Bettenservice am Abend fand nicht statt an den 3 Abenden die wir dort verbrachten. Die Süssigkeit am Abend-ein schlechter Witz-ein Keks (3 cm Durchmesser) für 2 Personen. Den Keks geteilt haben wir dann am
3.Abend bekommen.
Die Dachterrasse mit dem Whirlpool muss man vorbuchen und darf dort dann nur 3 Std.verbringen. Beim in der Buchung enthaltenen FrĂĽhstĂĽck ist nur ein Gericht kostenfrei, also entweder Omelett oder FrĂĽchte. In einem
Land wo es so viele Früchte gibt könnten ein paar Fruchtstücke gratis angeboten werden. So haben wir es auch bei allen anderen Hotels während der Rundreise erlebt. Am 3 Morgen gab es dann auch kein Müsli mit Joghurt mehr. Also alles irgendwie halbgar. Schade ! Wichtig: kein Pool, kein Zugang zum Meer! Bad und WC nicht wirklich „abgeschottet“ vom Schlafbereich. Man hatte keine Hemmungen im Hotel uns eine Wal-und Delfin-Beobachtungstour für 452 USD anzubieten obwohl gerade keine Walsaison ist und es keine Wale zu sehen gibt. Walsaison ist ab Juli und nicht Mitte-Ende April. Mit Pura Vida lässt sich einfach nicht alles entschuldigen.
