Beautiful villa, located in the center of Nusa Penida, excellent staff and customer care.
The rooms can get a little hot in the middle of the day.

Staff especially Putu and the lady in the kitchen were very helpful
Location is very secluded and you need a cab or bike to get the smallest of the things. Also rooms are super dingy and dark which doesn’t work.

We loved everything about Bila Penida. It was even better than we had hoped it would be. All the staff were fantastic. We had the 2 storey bungalow which was amazing and very comfortable. We were there 3 nights and had breakfast and dinner there each day and it was fresh and delicious. We also had a massage every afternoon at it was perfect. We would definitely stay here again. Our suggestion is bring good noise cancelling ear plugs as the roosters started around 5am. But hey it is a working farm and we loved it.

My husband and I absolutely loved the beautiful tropical gardens, with lush plants and huge trees all around us. At times we felt like we were staying in Jurassic Park! 😂 The garden really is amazing and creates such a peaceful, tropical atmosphere. The pool was lovely, beautifully clean and very inviting. I also had the most amazing aromatherapy massages in the evenings, definitely a highlight of my stay. One little tip: ask the masseuse to put the fan on, as the massage room can get very hot! 😊 Great beds!!!!
Unfortunately, the food was our biggest disappointment. We tried everything from steak to nasi goreng, both at the resort and around the island, but it lacked the fresh, rich flavours we’d enjoyed elsewhere in Bali. We also found many places to eat and stay quite dated and in need of repairs and renovation. Overall, we weren’t impressed with our stay on Nusa Penida, and four days felt looooooong! 😂
The resort is beautiful, but the rooms and bathrooms need a deep clean and some TLC. We booked the King Room with Balcony for the bathtub, but if you’re over 50 like us, beware, those stairs are seriously steep! 😅 We asked to change rooms.
And be prepared for the early morning roosters 🐓. They did, however, bring back some lovely memories of my childhood!
