The property was beautiful and very clean . The host was so friendly and attentive . We arrived a bit too late in the evening for a hot meal but Laurent made us cold plates which were delicious. You will need to book this in advance. The property was very close to the shuttle and set in a beautiful part of Calais next to the old opera theatre

We stayed in the Louis BlĂŠriot room, named after the pioneering pilot who made the first flight across the English Channel from Calais to Dover, and absolutely loved it.
So much thought has gone into creating the atmosphere of the room, with beautiful murals on the walls and wonderful little details, including aeroplane propellers used as light shades. It really gives the B&B its own character and sense of history.
Our dog was made very welcome too, with bowls provided for him, which was a lovely touch. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower had really good water pressure, and we had everything we needed.
Our host was incredibly hospitable and kind and genuinely wanted to do anything she could to make our stay enjoyable. I think we heard her speaking four different languages! The chef, who prepared the evening meal and breakfast, was also lovely and very friendly and chatty.
A really enjoyable stay in a small, historic B&B in Calais, full of thoughtful details and personality. We would happily stay again.

We have experienced an over 100 years of history were important personalities have spent time. The stay was exceptional. Food was absolutely amazing. We will definitely book again.
