Les Secrets des Loges

Room was clean and tidy upon arrival. The host was helpful and gave us a background of the room we stayed in. Breakfast was delicious with breads, cheese, fresh fruit, beverages and your pick of preserves

Friendly folks who did everything possible to make our stay pleasant! We opted to have dinner at the B&B, and it was delicious, as was the included breakfast. The owners have cats and they also have a pet-friendly policy - I am a bit allergic to cats, but it was not an issue and we did not even mention it. In short, our stay was great and we would stay again if returning to Calais!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Charming Stay Full of Character, Warmth and Wonderful Hosts What a delightful find Les Secrets des Loges turned out to be. From the moment we arrived, we received a genuinely warm welcome and felt more like guests than customers. The hosts were exceptional, with a real attention to detail that is increasingly rare. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and it was clear they take great pride in making every stay special. Our room was beautifully presented, comfortable and full of character. We particularly loved the historical theme and all the fascinating local touches and artefacts dotted around the property – there was always something interesting to look at and discover. The bed was extremely comfortable, and after a busy few days travelling, we slept wonderfully. Breakfast was excellent and a perfect start to the day. Fresh, plentiful and served with the same warmth and care that we experienced throughout our stay. The secure off-street parking was a real bonus. The entrance is a little snug, but if my Mercedes made it through without any drama, most cars will be absolutely fine! Once inside, the parking felt very secure and gave complete peace of mind. The family seem to have Calais covered too! In what became a lovely coincidence, their daughter served us a fantastic meal at the local pizzeria later that evening. It turns out we couldn't escape their hospitality even when we left the hotel! Les Secrets des Loges is charming, unique and run by wonderful people.
