Beautiful, well kept, and decorated older home. The beds were comfortable. Nice fenced yard. The house is well stocked with small appliances and cookware. Easy check in and check out.

The owners have lovingly restored a craftsman house and filled it with period antiques. The kitchen is well-equipped, including pizza stone, pasta maker, plenty of pans etc.

I don’t typically write negative reviews but this felt important to share after two nights at The Rose House with my coworkers. There were things about this property that were fine, however there are a few things that are important to acknowledge that I wish I had known. Primarily, toilet paper past 1 role per bathroom is not included and you need to provide your own. This is completely unreasonable for 4 adults for three days. Coffee and tea are not provided which is slightly less unreasonable, but very important to know.
Additionally, in two of the bedrooms, there were air conditioning units still in the windows. In the middle of October sleeping with an air conditioner in the window is like sleeping with the window open and we had to remove them ourselves in order for the rooms to be warm enough to sleep. This was less of an insult than the toilet paper, but left us feeling not taken care of.
There were no instructions about the property on site, so I had to contact Vacasa about multiple things during our stay. This could be avoided with a simple “about the property” packet on site.
My coworker found a dirty dish in a drawer in her room while I found bottle caps next to my bedside. Hopefully the property managers will do better in the future.

Guys golf trip to Spokane area, outdoor space and hot tub were terrific. Great central location, safe neighborhood.

Great spot to get the family together with lots of rooms for everyone and big gathering spaces to all hang out together. But there is plenty of room to also spread out between the back living room and outside patios in case you need a break too!
Be sure to walk the nearby Centennial Trail to catch some nice views of the river, or grab some coffee and scones from the shop only a few blocks away.

Lovely home with antiques and charm. The kitchen could use a few more staples. Great location and plenty of space

We loved the location that was central to all the golf courses we played, appreciated the loving care taken to restore and maintain Rose House true to it's era, enjoyed all the little sitting areas that allowed 8 people to spread out, made use of the covered outdoor seating area with lighting and a cooling fan and we really appreciated the modern kitchen with and amazing number of appliances and gadgets.

We loved our stay at the Rose house! It’s an old home with a quirky layout that has been kept up very well. We especially enjoyed the cleanliness and the outdoor space with the hot-tub. Our only complaint was that the second bathroom is attached to a bedroom, so the other 3 bedrooms have to share 1 bathroom that is located downstairs. Nothing that can be changed, just the layout of the house! We would stay here again!

The house is definitely Victorian. Lots of antiques everywhere.
The house was clean for the most part. When we were searching for the TV remote between the cushions, it looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned under for months… If you stay and the ice maker is not working, try cleaning it out. On the third day, my husband took it apart and worked to get it un jammed. After that it worked great. Kitchen had lots of amenities. We would suggest maybe some smaller pans and skillets. Everyone of them was gigantic, which is good if you are cooking for a large group. Dishes were more than adequate.
The upstairs bathroom is geared for younger persons. There is a step up to the toilet and sink and a deeper step up to the shower. We put our under 50 family upstairs. The fenced yard would be nice when it is not winter. Street parking worked out, however the street and front sidewalk was very icy. We shoveled and used the ice melt provided (which was a godsend) everyday.
Note: the property is pet friendly, however, if you have your pets, be responsible and clean up after them. A “pooper scooper” is provided in the back. My husband and son cleaned up poo from some very large dogs, the first day. We could only put our small pups in the front, as too much poo in the back.
We did try to email Vacasa as there was no remote to the TV. With no response, we hunted all through the TV room. At last (on 3rd day) it was found sitting above a clock that was 7’ off the ground.
Plenty of room for the 6 of us who were there. I would like to stay in the summer to enjoy the porch and the yard.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. The Rose House is truly a gem, historic but beautifully renovated, full of treasures and quaint fixtures, and was a perfect location for all our trip’s activities. The kitchen, bath and bedrooms were all well appointed and contained everything we needed and then some. We will definitely rebook again when in the area.

Lovely old home! High ceilings, antiques, beautiful lighting, well-stocked kitchen, and comfortable for all! We also appreciated fenced front lawn with beautiful roses and convered backyard seating area with barbecue. A quiet taste of yesterday.

Was here for a work conference and decided to stay in a house with the team so that we can hash out some ideas together after the conference in a cozy place. Only slight negative is that since this is an old building so each bedroom has only one outlet and not all rooms have an AC for the hot sleepers. All in all, a very comfortable stay with clean indoor and outdoor spaces. Worked exactly for what we intended.

Parking was the only issue we had. But it wasn’t something that would prevent me from staying there again. Had beautiful porches front and back. We really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely rent this place again.

We visited for a concert at the casino.
The property location is fantastic! Only one block away from the beautiful river trail. Easy drive to the concert venue. Quiet neighborhood.
The hot tub was fantastic- and very clean.
We brought our bikes and jogged and biked on the river trail.
The house is just as depicted and beautifully decorated. Very thoughtful.
Big beautiful kitchen with everything and more.
Oh and the beds are incredibly comfortable with amazing soft linens.
Our dog slid around a little on the hard wood/laminate flooring that made him a little nervous and tricky going up the stairs(just a heads up if bringing a dog).

Great location, cute and comfy home
Stayed here to visit our oldest daughter who attends Gonzaga University and couldn't have been happier with location, close to all we wanted to do! Home accommodated all 8 of us very well. Home was clean, cute and beds were very comfortable which is important to us to have a good night's rest. Would definitely rent this home again. Thank you!

A nice snowy vacation. We didn’t receive details about our booking until the morning of which was unusual, but OK. The house is well appointed and has almost everything you can think of for cooking. The beds were comfortable, and the house is as clean as an old house can be. The neighborhood was quiet, may be a little rundown, but definitely felt safe and the neighbors were friendly. The house was warm enough in the winter and the roads of Spokane are plowed enough to get around in the winter. The house is close to grocery stores, a few restaurants, and also close to the park.
We would stay here again although not if we needed an early or late checkout. They’re are not at all flexible with that.

Great place to stay with family while visiting our son at Gonzaga. Being able to bring our dogs made it a special trip. Really pleasant fenced backyard. Fun and comfortable decor. The kitchen was functional, although the cupboards and construction were a bit rickety. If you are looking for perfection, this may not be your place. But, if you’re looking for a cute and comfortable place with personality, this is it. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The house is older but very cute. The upstairs bathroom adjoins a bedroom so that can be challenging. The shower is also very odd shaped. The back yard is amazing. Hot tub was clean. My family and I had a great time.

This place was a perfect setting for our work retreat, plenty of space for humans and dogs and stayed very cool during 100 degree weather. Its obviously cared for with a lot of heart and consideration for those who stay. Hot tub and all areas were clean comfortable and charming. Thank you.

Older home with very nice updates. Exceptionally clean and well appointed with comfortable beds in all bedrooms. The temperature during our stay was near 100 degrees and the house was kept comfortably cool even in the three upstairs bedrooms. The previous reviews that spoke to poor air condition were very inaccurate. Very nice dog friendly backyard. We would stay here again.

Just a couple of cons to start. There is no laundry on the property, there are only street parking spots available, and it was pretty hot in the upstairs rooms even with the window cooler units. However, the house is a gorgeous 100yr old manor. It's well kept and has everything we needed. The back yard and hot tub are like a sanctuary. Beds and linens were great, plenty of towels, etc. All in all.... HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
