Castle-like home nestled between Pinehurst No. 2 and the Village Chapel. If you are looking for comfort, location and history in one spot this is the place for you! European style Casement Cottage built in 1920 by the first internationally famous Hall of Fame woman golfer, Dorothy Campbell Hurd(born in Scotland)! Central location with little distance to the Pinehurst Country Club and the Historic Village shops. It has five spacious bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom. Two master suites to choose from- one upstairs and one downstairs. In addition to the beautiful original spiral staircase there is another simple staircase from the kitchen for guests’ convenience. Located on a beautiful and spacious corner lot with a patio for outdoor grilling and entertainment. Historical guests include F. Scott Fitzgerald! Awesome house. Super close to the golf course. Like 2 min away. Spacious, clean, and convenient. Had everything we needed. Great stay after a little trouble getting the code. It was like slicing off the drive and the rest was fantastic and you get a birdie. We’ll take a mulligan anyway and will stay here again!

Hi Guys - really appreciate letting us stay here. Great house. I would say for future guests that are staying for an extended period, leave more than two trash bags and some additional items (like a bottle of dish soap, etc.). We ended up having to go out and buy all these items and this is not normal from our experience in travel and staying for a week in a house.

Perfect place for a small family gathering. Large kitchen, dining , and living/game rooms provided great gathering spaces while numerous bedrooms and baths provided comfortable sleeping and private spaces..Location was great for walking to the village , parks and golf club; and an easy drive to Southern Pines and other nearby country clubs.

The Casement Cottage was a very cool historic home with plenty of space for our family Christmas gathering. Great space to be together as a group or to spend some time apart. The close location to the Village was great so we could walk to see the decorations in town and at the Carolina Hotel. The weather was very cold so we were disappointed that the gas fireplace was not operational. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our time and the character of this house.

The house had plenty of space and was in an amazing location with a great kitchen. Some things I would give feedback on are.. The house ran out of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags almost immediately. The internet at the house was horrible and disappointing for this price point. It was the world cup and we had to go to Dugan's Pub because the game froze for 15 minutes in the middle of the USA vs. England game. Thank you,Mike

Great Location
Perfect home for us as we had 8 golfers and that is what it is best set up for. Location is awesome. Walked to Pinehurst main club and putting greens. As well as to the Village and restaurant's and pubs.

My husband and I stayed here with some of our friends for a long weekend. The house is nicer than in the pictures and was equipped with everything that we needed. It is a short walking distance from downtown Pinehurst. We would stay here again for sure.

The house is nice and clean and has a great kitchen and baths. We used the grill and enjoyed coffee on the patio. Plenty of space for us and 4 young adults.

The place had tons of room for all eight of us. We loved being able to just walk to the golf course and just play all day. Having a bathroom in each bedroom was a wonderful feature that came in handy more than you would think. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone I know.
