I like the area; it was beautiful. Greenlake is a calm and peaceful area. The Hotel sits right in the middle of the peacefulness. I liked it. During the day, the hotel is calm; when you walk inside, the main entry is pretty and clean.
The room I stayed in was clean. But in the entryway, I could smell sweat. It was just in the entryway. I didn’t like that the balcony was shared and split in the middle. The neighbors were smoking and drinking outside in their cramped half. I just left the sliding door closed and always covered. Finding the gym was a little confusing. I tried eating at their bar downstairs; it was just 'ok', a little pricey for 'ok' burgers and fries.

Clean, updated, friendly, location on the lake, views, affordable restaurant/drink prices, fire pit at night.
Everything was great!

Landscape and architecture of the original building.
Recent additions are too angular and stark. Really takes away from the original beauty. I stayed here decades ago.
