Nestled in La Crosse, this attractive house for $135 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath 2 story home is splashed with color to bring beauty and charm for your retreat. Located near the heart of La Crosse, area activities, colleges, and hospitals, it is a convenient location in beautiful southwest Wisconsin. What will you find at 8th Street Blues? Every room is a true delight with many details to make your stay an enjoyable one! This updated home provides central air, comfortable bedding, a full kitchen, and all the basic supplies you would need for preparing meals, including Kuerig, Instant Pot, and a starting supply of spices and beverages. Lots of items for family time… including games, books, toys, and DVDs. We even have a special 8th Street "Blues Clues" scavenger hunt(enjoyed by all ages)... and yes for all you return guests, we have a new scavenger hunt for you to conquer! Outdoors offers a patio area and grill for dining as well as games to enjoy in a nice sized yard with privacy fencing. We provide extra sleeping areas, bedding, toiletries, and a laundry room. Off street parking is available in a small 1 car garage and 2 additional spaces for larger vehicles. Cleanliness is a high priority to us. Hygiene supplies are provided to use as you need. Between visitors, we clean the home thoroughly for your protection. We ask no pets or smoking please. This house may look small from the outside but has very good space & can sleep many people. House has been removed beautifully. Love size of place & kitchen. Neighbor is quiet which is nice. Short drive to all places.

We enjoyed our stay at 8th Street Blues. The house was comfortable for our group of five adults. The host anticipated a variety of needs and provided items in a well organized and well labeled system. There was plenty of sleeping areas and bathroom space to accommodate our group. We enjoyed the spacious backyard to relax in the afternoon. We spent hours around the kitchen table laughing. Overall, it was a great fit for our group.
The only hiccup for us was the steep narrow stairs. This is an older house, so it is not uncommon for this kind of stairs. The stairs were not problematic overall. However, if you struggle with stairs it might be better to stay in the bedroom on the first floor.
We would recommend 8th Street Blue for your next stay especially if you want to stay close to Viterbo or downtown.

The beds were WAY too soft. The patio grass was pretty tall. Didn’t want any ‘ no-see’ems’ eating on me!! Other than that, I was satisfied with everything!!

Myself and two others in my cohort had booked this home after finding out we had to stay in LaCrosse for a week prior to graduating with our Masters in Education. The communication was great, place was easy to access, clean and comfortable. We all agreed that we would check this place out again if we ever had to stay in LAX again. Do the scavenger hunt, it’s fun!

This house is so cute and cozy! We stayed for the State Track meet at the LaCrosse veterans stadium and it was so nice to be in a house instead of a hotel - and for about the same price too!! We had ample room for us all to sleep. It is loaded with movies and games and the cute little patio is perfect! The actual yard is much bigger than expected so it's perfect for some yard games. The decor is adorable and makes you feel right at home. There are hooks everywhere to hang towels and actual hangers to hang your clothes. There are shelves and dressers so you can unpack and feel more at home! Every part of the house was super clean. The kitchen is stocked with nearly everything you'd need. It was just absolutely perfect. We accidentally left some personal items behind and the host graciously reached out to let me know and to ship them back.

We stayed for a long Memorial Day weekend trip to visit the LaX campus (alma mater) and other places. The house was perfectly located so everywhere we wanted to go was within 4-5 miles. We did the scavenger hunt and it was really fun. After spending all day outside seeing places, we spent the evening sitting in the back yard playing cards and listening to music. This house has a Brooklyn feel to it - nice style, private back yard, plenty of space within the two levels. Thank you to the owners for sharing their lovely place.

We didn't use the many amenities that this property offered (big fenced-in back yard, grill, full kitchen, washer, etc.) but they would make this place ideal for a family. I was happy for a quiet getaway convenient to a variety of activities in LaCrosse.

Beds were comfortable, it was very clean and the kitchen was well-equipped for everything you'd need to cook and host. We loved it. I only wish we'd remembered to bring our baby gate for the stairs to keep my 3 year old from running up and down them. A delightful weekend - would love to stay here again.

This was the perfect house for my family to stay while visiting my daughter at Viterbo. The is not very large but it has everything we needed, including several different sleeping spots. The outdoor patio was perfect for grilling and hanging out. We would stay again.

We came to LaCrosse for a CrossFit tournament and stayed at 8th Street Blues. We had 2 couples and our 4 year old son. The home was so comfy and cute and had everything we needed. Our son loved the scavenger hunt and had so much fun in the toy area downstairs! We enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee and having my older daughter come to visit who lives in LaCrosse. The check in and out process was seamless and the hosts are very responsive. Would highly recommend this home for your next stay in the LaCrosse area. Thank you for helping us make great memories ❤️

Chris and Sheila were great hosts. The place was stocked so well. Since I was making Thanksgiving dinner, I brought everything I needed as most places were not stocked well but I could have done dinner with all the pots and pans and kitchen supplies that were at the house. My girls loved the scavenger hunt and the large checkers board in the basement. The neighborhood was quiet and it was nice to take a few days and relax. Thank you!

8th Street Blues was a great place to stay! It was well stocked and furnished with everything we needed for a weekend stay, and honestly much longer. The space was perfect for launching into a weekend in La Crosse and beyond. In a quiet neighborhood, but walking distance to downtown- what more could you ask for. Host answered any and all questions and was always available to help with anything we needed, which wasn't much. Would happily stay again!

Booking was an ease and the owners were very friendly and quick to respond. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as we visited our son for Family Weekend. The location is close to his campus and many food venues. It is beautifully decorated and well-equipped with all the necessities. We enjoyed grilling out, playing yard games, and the nice backyard. The scavenger hunt was a hit as well! We will definitely be back.

There was a bit of a snafu with the check-in process (key that was in the lockbox didn’t work at the house - possibly left on accident by the last renters) but thankfully Chris and Sheila replied to my message almost instantly and had it remedied as soon as possible. The rest of our stay was perfect. I have to say, the supplies at the house and the labeled kitchen cabinets and drawers were exceptional! I’ve never stayed anywhere better in that regard.

Great little house. There were 4 adults and 2 kids (13 & 9) Scavenger hunt was a hit! Loved the patio area and yard games. AC worked perfectly! Host was fabulous! Great communication. Good location. Will definitely stay again if the need arises.

Everything was absolutely wonderful! A very nice place, comfortable beds, awesome kitchen/ dining area, and great yard and grill area. We will be back!!! Highly recommend!
