Summary: This newly renovated unit is truly is a Hidden Gem in the heart of Islamorada! This duplex is nestled in the trees just a few steps from one of the most amazing sunsets in the Upper Keys. Walking distance to all the wonderful shops, restaurants and breweries that Islamorada has to offer. Bikes and Kayaks can be rented steps away from the front door of this unit. Want to find a place that you'll want to return year after year? Look no further! 🌅🌴😎💎 This unique property was originally built as motel in the 1950's. We have taken it upon ourselves to give it a facelift! Expects new bathrooms, flooring, beds, windows, and new split AC units in every room! Cool down when you get inside from that Florida heat! Brrrrr The Space: This unit is 620 sq. ft. located on the first floor. Its two bedroom/two bath with a small kitchen and living room. The master bedroom has a Queen mattress with an en suite bathroom. The guest bedroom has a King memory foam mattress and an unattached bathroom. There are no dressers or closets in the units. We provide luggage racks, and places to hang clothing. This unit is part or a very unique and private wooded property that spans over the bay of the Florida Keys. This unit does has a courtyard view NOT a bay/ocean view. All staying guests have complete access to all the property has to offer. It’s a two minute walk to the boat basin and the most incredible sunset view in Islamorada! Guests are allowed to bring one boat up to 25’ foot to keep in the boat basin. There is trailer parking on property for no addition fee. Guest Access: The property is accessed via self check in with a key pad. The Neighborhood: Located at Mile Market 82.5 in the heart of Islamorada this unit is central to many shops, restaurants, and bars! Its right across the street from several shops, walking distance to several restaurants, and the famous Islamorada Beer Company! We provide a detailed GUESTBOOK with many great recommendations for food, drinks, and activities!! Other Things to Note: ● Maximum 4 guests ● Laundry/courtyard/grill is SHARED with guests upstairs ● Unit has a courtyard view Cancellation Policy ● 100% refund if you cancel at least 60 days before check-in. ● 50% refund (minus service fee) if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in. ● No refund if you cancel less than 30 days before check-in. We strongly recommend purchasing a separate travel protection policy to cover any refund requests outside the above cancellation rules. Great location. Walking distance to several fun spots to hang out. Clean unit and with a short walk to the other side of the property you see the beautiful (bayside) Gulf of Mexico. Quaint and quiet!!

We had a great time at this property. Sean and his wife were in constant communication with us which I liked. The grounds are Beautiful. The unit had everything you could need. Very homie feeling. I loved the cold Ac. Would definitely go back again.

We went for a short family get-away from real life and found it at the Hidden Gem. The property is exceptionally well maintained and very comfortable. Sean is extremely responsive! There are so many restaurants in walking distance. The patio area is so relaxing, and it's a short walk to the boat dock area. The area is very quiet and cozy. We will definitely be back for another visit.

I’ve rented a lot of houses in the keys and this one is now one of my favorites. Will definitely stay again. Very clean with comfortable beds and furniture. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Excellent patio area and grounds. Sean was fantastic to deal with! I would highly recommend Hidden Gem.

We really liked the place,the apartment has all the utilities that are needed in a home from A to Z,everything is beautiful, quiet, comfortable, clean, with easy access from sea and land to the places we visit. Perfect mooring for boats and a good location,we enjoyed every moment of all its comforts. In short, the ideal place to spend a few days on vacation. Another very important thing is the proximity to the Islamorada sandbar(in my opinion the best in Florida).

We loved every minute of our stay at the Hidden Gem! It was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! The place is super cute and functional! The dock was so enjoyable for sunsets! We also used a fishing guide recommended by Sean and he was fantastic! We fell in love with Islamorada and cannot wait to come Back! Thanks so much!

Place was nice and clean and had more room than I expected. Centrally located in Islamorada and across the street from Islamorada Brewery. Access to the bay was also nice - we sat out every night and enjoyed the view. Owner was very responsive to requests. I would definitely rent the property again. Only ding...a painter came in while we were there to paint the outside of the house. Not a problem, since we were enjoying the area, but if we were going to stay around and use the outdoor space, it would have been a bit inconvenient.

Overall, great location and nice property. We stayed downstairs and could hear lots going on upstairs. The apartment could have been cleaner. All of the beds were very creaky. Master bath shower dingy. However, the kitchen was fine and living room was okay. Lighting could be better--as the lights above were a bit much even though there was a dimmer. We loved the chairs outside in front, as well as the dock area. Parking was very convenient. Sean was great.

The accommodations were what I expected, but we had a recurring roach problem while we stayed there. The property manager got someone out to spray, but those little German roaches are insidious. We have sterilized all of our bags and clothes with the hope of not bringing them home.

This is a fantastic property! It is located a little off the beaten path but close to what you need and within walking distance of kayak rental, shops and the Islamorada Brewing Company. We stayed here 2 years ago (different owner) and when looking around for other places could not find anything as well located in a quite area. Sean and Lauren are fantastic and we can't wait to stay here again.

This is a great place to stay especially if you are looking for a quite off the path condo. Sean and Lauren greeted us on arrival and made sure that we had everything we needed. The unit is clean, well furnished and the air conditioning units keep you cool in the mid-day heat (if you happen to be inside). The grill is awesome and the modern washer and dryer make it easy to travel light. With the Publix a mile away, a brew company across the street and a dock to watch the sunsets there is no better place to stay in Islamorada!

I have been coming to the Keys for many years, and this is without question the best condo I've stayed in within Islamorada. Sean was an amazing host from start to finish. The unit was clean and perfect for a getaway. The patio was amazing and a short walk to the ocean. Five stars in every aspect, highly recommend!!

Great place to stay in the heart of Islamorada. Hidden Gem was just that - tucked away, great accommodations with a beautiful courtyard and fabulous access to the water. We even had a manatee visit the boat park! Sean and Lauren were wonderful hosts. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

The property was really clean and recently updated both inside and out. It had all the amenities we needed and a fully functional kitchen. The water access and dock area are great and there is good fishing right out in front. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Islamorada!
