Situated in Lewis Smith Lake, this attractive house for $265 per night is a great choice for your next break. This place will remind you of your trips to your Nana's house. Very comfortable lakehouse 15 steps from the water. You cannot beat these views or these decks. Great for family of friends to spend time together. Property has 3 bedrooms, 3 full bath (one bathroom on each level of the house). Seating for 10 in dining area, plus 2 at the bar. Smart TVs in the main living area, master, and lower sitting area. Amenities: - Internet and WIFI - Private dock with 12x28 slip, tieoffs, no lift. 12x24 swim dock. Jetski port. No power at dock. - Charcoal grill. - Parking for 3 cars Bedroom #1: King size bed and two twin beds- on the second floor - with private bath Bedroom #2: Queen size bed - main level Bedroom #3: Queen size bed - lower level Additional sleeping on lower level in TV room with a pull-out twin bed. Peak Season: No Saturday to Saturday rentals. (Friday to Friday or Sunday to Sunday are fine). PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE PRIMARY RENTER MUST MEET THE AGE REQUIREMENT OF 25 YEARS OF AGE.

Decent property, overpriced. Property is way outdated and needs TLC. Shower dripped, Bridge to dock was dry rotted and had hole in it. I fell on it when it got wet. Dire need of repair. As a family, we had fun despite some issues.

I would’ve thought for the amount of money we paid to stay at this place there would’ve been much more attention to detail. Upon arrival we noticed there were leaves covering the entire property. Roof , driveway, lawn. I don’t usually complain much but how much effort would it have taken to send a landscape company over before we got there to give us a good 1st impression? The exterior needs TLC and should be painted. We went inside and it was clean but clearly a while had passed since the cleaners were there judging by the amount of spider webs were on every window. I know there’s a lot of spiders in Alabama but again, how much effort would it take to send someone over ,the day before we got there, to clean that up fo a good impression? BUT BY FAR THE WORST PART WAS THE CRAZY DOGS A COUPLE HOUSES OVER!!! There was a bunch of big aggressive dogs two houses over across the street. They would bark all night and kept us up. Also I witnessed them attacking the small dogs next door in the driveway next door a few times, to the point where I had to chase them off because one of the old dogs was full of blood. That was not an easy task as the dogs then came at me on the property we we’re staying on, I threw rocks and yelled and eventually they ran off.One day we drove by the house with the crazy dogs and there was a dead dogs body in the driveway. My wife enjoys walking and jogging but didn’t do any of that on this trip. I could’ve looked past the lack of detail with the leaves and spiderwebs but when I requested a partial refund ,because of all we’d been through , and the owner denied that I was inspired to write this review. As a small business owner I know how important it is to take care of and be good to your customers. That didn’t happen here.

The view and relaxation from the back porch can’t be described. The house is well appointed and is comfortable and has room for plenty of people. You can feel the love that went into the house. We enjoyed the stay and hope to return again later in the year.
