Amazing location and the pool was perfect. Particular praise for the staff at the pool bar - they made it a great experience. Junior Suite room was massive and excellent view from the balcony. Good breakfast - excellent coffee
Bad experience with the massage service associated with the hotel. Cancelled one day then turned up late the next. Not to the standard of the rest of the hotel service.

The view from our room was outstanding, it took my breath away, we opened the curtains and just saw mountains. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was amazing as we could walk to Malcescine which was beautiful. We cannot wait to go back!

pool view, gardens, breakfast, big room, view from room
The pool barman who has no idea about customer service. When I asked to change a glass red wine, which was off , he was incredibly rude and antagonistic,refusing at first to change it. He wanted to argue with me about whether it was off or not. It was so unnecessary to create a big issue about it and it put me off buying any more drinks from the bar. This was a big negative on our stay there and spending any time at the pool. All the other staff were helpful and nice.
The pool itself was also rather cold, even though the weather was very sunny, with temperatures in the mid to high 30s. This was big shame, as it has a great view.
The lakeview superior room with a balcony, like most of the hotel's modern rooms face the road, so although it had a lovely view, it was marred somewhat by the noise of the traffic.
