Central location with the town only a short walk away. Very clean rooms, helpful staff and a very classy restaurant.
Slightly challenging to get to the hotel as it was located in a pedestrian zone.

Beautiful property with a lovely garden to spend some time. Exceptional buffet breakfast, including all three kinds of Belgium chocolate.! wonderful staff very attentive. Excellent location, right in the center of everything walking distance.

This is an excellent hotel it is very luxurious. The room was beautiful with toiletries supplied. The bed was huge and really comfortable.
The breakfast was superb with lots of choice and sweet treats including big blocks of Belgian chocolate to sample!
Staff were really friendly and efficient. The location was great - just a few minutes walk to the main square.
Nothing I didn't like but just a couple of things that would have made it super special.
Our room was outside the hotel in the garden area. which would have been lovely but as we were on the ground floor we had to keep the blinds closed. I would have preferred to stay in the hotel but only there for 2 nights so not really a problem.
As part of our trip we had stayed in 2 similar hotels and feel the Duke's Palace had just a couple of things missing that others had included: No iron in the room, only mirror is in the bathroom none in the bedroom area, charges for water and drinks in the minibar - I expect charges for alcohol and soft drinks but our previous 2 hotels had provided 2 small bottles of water each day, free of charge. These are only small things and only a 2 night stay so didn't really matter but when you are paying for a hotel of this nature it's those nice little extras that you expect to be included.
